You hit the nail on the head Jeff. Unfortunately for America, Obama continues to remain hard headed on his "own" ideology, he expects "everyone" to cow down and follow hm. He seeks no common ground, negotiates no common ground, and after nearly 4 years, still blames everyone else. Not the Leader we need. We need someone who can get both sies to common ground, and turn America back on.
I think you are mistaken. This thread is not about Cheney.Your response leads me to believe you are writing about Dick. BTW Cheney has been pretty quiet on the gay marriage front. Is he for it or against it?

<quoted text>Unless I am mistaken, a HUGE added benefit of the Keystone pipeline would have been the money paid to the refiners, and the very real possibility of more good paying jobs in the hard hit Gulf region. Now if the President really cared about jobs and helping hard hit Americans, why did he shoot down this pipeline?
You and Neighbor aren't fooling anyone. If Obama came out in favor of Keystone you would be attacking him. You teabagger types are consistent in that no matter what Obama does he is wrong. If they actually build the thing you and Neighbor will be bitching about all the high paying union jobs held by oil company workers as the reason your gas prices are so high and that your own lives are so miserable.

There you go, ducking & weaving to get off the topic. <lol I do understand, if I were a Democrate I would avoid these debates too. Still, you & I are both Americans who want the best for our kids & grand kids. So do you want to leave them with huge growing debt, or a hugely declining debt? IMO, that pretty much sums up the difference between Obama & Romney.

You really are slow, aren't you? Tell you what, you get Obama to fully support the new pipeline & job creation, and "then" you can see what I say ok? So go, run, go tell Obama to help America and see what he does...

Jeff, the Liberal Democrates are now very very angry. Their guy is in big trouble, has been failing for 3 plus years, doubled our debt, and can't lead both parties to common ground. Those who funded Obama have backed away, and the DNC is $26M in debt today. Big time trouble.

These guys refuse to accept facts, and simply name call Republicans as liars. All they have themselves is spun lies, and blame everyone else but Obama fabrications. Tough to be in their shoes right now.

The rest of us (Good Democrats & Republicans) just need to do our very best to make certain the November election puts America back on track. We can't debate or argue with the Liberals, we need to move on.

We do need to move on, but I cannot help but to try and understand those who move in lock-step with either party. Only problem is, when I do try, I get a migraine!

Oh I hear you Jeff!!! I have debated, played the mine is bigger than yours, posted Smoking Gun facts, Fact Check facts, and the Liberal Democrats out here "still" argue Obama is doing good.

I think this Fast & Furious think just might be Obama's Nixon like moment. Even with that, the Liberals will still support him. <lol

OMG...YOU....debate with facts!?!? That is a joke. You couldn't post a fact to support any of your right wing, whack jobs posts if your life depended on it. The sad thing is there is info out there that could at least marginally support some of your opinions. You're too lazy to bother to look for them.

Why didn't they include the 2 Bush boys. I would imagine the same would have been true for W.
Fact
Reagan took a 700 billion debt to 2.7 trillion. Those are 1982 dollars so it is equivalent of almost 5 trillion in 2012 dollars.Bush and Clinton were under 2 trillion. What did W add? Man of many twisted facts. I believe W added more to the debt than all the presidents before him. You a big Bushie buddy but where was the outrage over his 6 trillion added to the debt?
I will let you in on a little secret. The next President will add to the debt. Medicare and Social Security claims are going higher and only a cowardly Democrat would cut defense. Those 3 things are 60% of the budget. I guess we could try another tax cut without cutting spending like Bushie. Tax cuts create jobs and economic nirvana. Those 2 tax cuts sure worked. Unemployment doubled under Bush and economic nirvana turned to shit after 8 years of Bush and his majority. Just think what he would have accomplished if it was all Republican for all 8 years. Again, unemployment DOUBLED under W. where did the job creators put their tax savings? They went to TARP for more money. Who started Tarp?

That question has 2 answers. W and Obama. Remember W inherited a great economy unlike the Depression that Obama got.
