If next year is like this year, I may not pass any candy out. For the first time in 18 years, I ran out of candy in a neighborhood where the majority of the "children" are now in High School or College. How could this be? Well, when I saw several van loads of kids get dropped off in front of my house and none of them spoke English, I kind of got a clue.
|
||||
yes I did but the party was the day b4. And I was working. I work out of my home. |

What the hell kind of title is this? I saw this and can't make heads or tails of it. So your know their home? What does this mean? Is this an angry trick or treater? My kids were writing better than that when they were 6. What a shlapper.

I know isn't it nuts Unincorporated? The stupid shit people worry about,,,

We nearly ran out. I did notice a lot of 'driveby' trick-or-treaters. since we do you have to be driven to do your trick -or-treating? We went through 13 bags of candy. We do have young kids but SO many cars were moving along with the kids I wonder if they were from outside our area? |

It isn't nuts, it's candy. Candy mumzy! It's shlapolistic!

We had the van drop-offs in our neighborhood also. One van I saw at least 8 kids get out plus a few moms. They walked the entire block and the van came around and picked them up. The person who started this thread was probably some angry kids who got sick and tired of going to homes that no one was answering the door. When we were young and going trick or treating my dad told me to look for two things; 1. is the front door open? 2: are there cars in the driveway? What can you do, not everyone can afford six/seven bags of candy at $2.00 a bags- especially living in a 350,000 house in NL.

1 Yikes! No wonder she was locked inside her house, only coming out to get the mail and a pizza! Sounds like a horrifying place to live, filled with hoards of children who haven't learned basic manners from their parents who are too busy keeping tabs on their neighbor's actions and posting their oh-so-outraged major life problems on the Interweb! What's next, I wonder! Perhaps she'll hang inappropriate holiday decorations or *gasp!* neglect to display ANY AT ALL! Prepare to alert the media! PS - most towns (and most halfway clued-in parents) tell their children that if the house is dark, with no porchlight on, don't visit that home. Not a difficult concept to grasp, beautiful in its simplicity. Pass the word to the 100+ kids in the neighborhood who seem to be unaware of the concept so next year you won't have to be a-frettin'. |

What I found most amusing about this thread is the fact that people are so mad about the kids not getting candy from neighbors. Why dont you just buy your kids candy and shut it? Mind your own business.

iamme, by coming onto this board YOU are sticking your nose into someone's business. If you don't like what's said, tough. Can you see you're doing exactly what you don't want others to do?. Your brain is the size of a candy corn. I've seen the X-rays, they're pathetic. Shlap yerself, ya shlapaholic.
