Appalled, you mean, "as Appalled accuses Neighbor of", lets be honest at least. Just because I debated you hard on Zim & Tray is no reason to spin what I have said in the past Appalled. Your just like Eagleman now. Yes, really you are.
A) I have presented details/stories that provided background data as to Joe's the controversy "hang Joe now" that was on the threads. Don't you always whine about getting the "whole" truth? B) I stated my opinion (using IMO) after reading the text & listenting to the "whole truth" Video in this thread, the charge is out of context IMO. It was a lot of nothing, and definately IMO not a planned slam on Military, or Ducks great sacrifice. You do know, and I do know, we both are proud of Ducks service & sacrifice. However, after years of her exploiting it, just when do you say, "Ok, we know, you told us that before"? So now Appalled wants to accuse me when I say IMO??? Come on Appalled, get off your high horse and mellow down a bit. Your falty acquisations toward me are getting tired. If you want to state IMO, Neighbor said XYZ, fine... I can clarify your misunderstanding if necessary, and usually your intpretation of my posts is wrong. Really Appalled, they are. Try using your own medicine first, ask for clarification to get the "whole truth" before you do what you have been doing to my posts please.
Happy Fourth To you!

LOL... So if I post an article reference you don't agree with, "it's Neighbor said it"? If I state IMO, you can say "your're" wrong, as opposed to I disagree with your opinion? If you misread or misinterpret something I post, no need to seek clarification, it's shoot-ready-aim, you run with what you "assume" it means? My my how high and mighty you have become.... <lol
I appologize for all your misunderstandings, and misinterpretations of my posts. Often you & I see things differently, teachers salary, pulic employee benefits, Zim & Tray, and that's perfectly ok. I am sorry if my opinion differs from yours. But lets keep the counter points accurate when accusing one another out here. Don't put words in my mouth, or "assume" your interpretation is accurate. From my lips to God's ears, trust me, you misinterpret my statements a lot.... Finally, there is a big difference between "feeling misunderstood" and "being misunderstood". <Ask questions, get the "whole truth", then ready-aim-shoot.

So Neighbor, you are saying that on all the Topics on here where you have mentioned about serving in the military and being a veteran I should tell you "enough neighbor, you tell us this all the time" and you wouldn't find it disrespectful.
And of course you would accuse me of being unpatriotic or not caring about vets in general. But it is ok for you to disrespect a veteran because of her political affiliation. You are truly disgusting.

Cynical, not really... When I listened to the full video (not just read the headline) it was obvious to me what he was saying. I don't even like Joe, but I have to call it as I see it. I can go listen to it again, but I don't think I'll have a different view.

Ok: WALSH: Understand something about John McCain. His political advisers, day after day, had to take him and almost throw him against a wall and hit him against the head and say,“Senator, you have to let people know you served! You have to talk about what you did!” He didn’t want to do it, wouldn’t do it. Day after day they had to convince him. Finally, he talked a little bit about it, but it was very uncomfortable for him. That’s what’s so noble about our heroes. Now I’m running against a woman who, my God, that’s all she talks about. Our true heroes, it’s the last thing in the world they talk about. That’s why we’re so indebted and in awe of what they’ve done.
It's a stretch, but did he say she was not a hero? No. Did he complain that it's all she talks about? Yes. The "Our true hero's" line is what I guess the Liberal's jumped on.... So, was he saying if you go on & on about your military service you're not a "true hero"? Yep. Sounds that way.
But context is everything too. Joe's right in that a combat vet never if at all, shares his story in public. But this is a political campaign, and Tammy can leverage her experience in being shot down right? Regardless of sharing it once or 100 times, it is a political feather. God Bless her.
Well, I guess the Dems have Joe Biden & the Repubs now have Joe Walsh. Long live foot in mouth.
After a second run, and really taking his words appart, I see your point of view.

I mean how do you approach that subject and critique a persons hero status, without sounding like an ass? You have to be smarter than that. Duckworth is not in the party I support, but I would never question her heroism because of the sacrifice she made. If Walsh was smart he would of stayed away from it. While Walsh can refer to his life experience and work experience all he wants, he failed to realize that his opponent has spent majority of her adult years serving her country. Plus I would imagine that the media also fuels a lot of the hero talk. But I agree, he is definately part of the foot in mouth club. Or a victim of a hell of a political strategy.

The training they go through is dangerous and risky but it's that training that keeps our service men and women prepared to protect us. Even if you don't believe in whats going on in the middle east we need to have a prepared defense. I'm grateful that there are people out there with the guts and drive to be able to go thru that often dangerous training. Whether they ever take enemy fire or not, to me they are heros for just being on watch and at the ready. They protect elite interest numbskull
