He was my baby Cousin he was a great little boy and yes his mother may not have been the best but he loved her and no matter what she lost a baby that day just like we all did! I’m not a big fan of hers but I’m still his family and I know what when on behind closed doors. We never thought that this could ever happen because Shane loved that little boy more than anything in the world. I don’t care if you think you know the whole story and can pass judgment you don’t know and you cant so stop trying!

I am Korrena Gaults neighbor ad I am a very good friendf hers. Korrenna Gault never left her son only to his dad and me while she worked. Korrena Gault did go to rehab. But a crack head... No, Lets give her credit... She realized she had a problem and she reached out for help. And I am proud to tell you she got it...I know she is CLEAN to this day.
I babysat for Shanie (anyone that knew and loved him called him this) for the first 5 years of his life. I loved this little boy and he was like a brother to my daugher. Shanie was a delightful child full of life and wonder. This little guy loved his mom and dad very much. Big Shane Gault took this little boy not only from his mom but from all of the people that loved him. And there were many.
Calling names and blaming his mother will never bring him back, if it would Korrena would be the first to do this. There are days that Shanes mom can not even function because of what loss she feels for her baby boy.
So if you do not know Shane Gault and you do not know his mother than you missed one heck of a chance to know a GREAT child and your comments are only thoughts and they shoud be that only thoughts and kept to yourself.

I am one of the 4 women that had the bennifit for Shanie Gault. That bennefit was to raise money for Sahne a head stone. Which we purchased. With not one pennny going to his mother. We did this out of love for Shanie. Believe me his mother did not take a trip, well yes she did, it was to hell and back but we all know that was paid in full by Big Shane Gault. Shanie Gaults little body is at the Fairview Cemetery, in Jeffersonville. If you get a chance stop by and see what a Beautiful Head Stone 4 people that loved this little guy worked so very hard to purchase for only HIM, so he will never be forgotten.

Her name is not Corinna Powers it is Korrena Powers-Gault-Stone. It is so funny to me how so many people think they know what happened and all you produce are made up stories. My nephew's head stone and all the money raised for him was used just as it need be, to help the family and to pay for him a peaceful resting place. BTW Kate from Columbus, you must be one of the fine friends of the Gault family, one who thinks they can pass judgement on others and not be judged yourself. I pray for you and your loved one that no harm comes to anyone and that they are kept safe from any harm that our family has. Also if you ever remotely knew what you were talking about then you would know my Mom is the one married to the sex offender! Who the hell are you to pass judgement on anyone, weither you know them or not!?! I have had the privilege to meet Korrina and she is a wonderful woman. So what about her past! I may not know much but I know enough to know that everyone of us has a past and we all have regrets. 3 years later and her heart is still aching for her little boy. So if you have nothing nice to say, then you need to hit the road. This family needs love and support, even today, not malicious accusations. Grow Up!
