While you are entitled to your opinion, so are others. I have no use, sympathy or patience for gutter trash. Their opinions are worthless, and I will cut her the same break they would cut me (and the van driver), none. I'm tired of being told to feel sorry for, and support, these idiots.

Well then Joe, it seems your "hood" is atypical. While it appears the rest are what I originally said and this behavior is typical of what is happening daily in Hartford and New Haven whether it be Park St with a person laying dying in the road while the typical inner-city thugs just watch or this exact incident involving the bike.

Yes, well she is entitled to her opinion as well. I know it's hard, who wants to be sympathetic when it's so annoying to see the disregard for your fellow man. I read that the boys father, is very sympathic to the van driver, that is certainly a plus.

Give me a frillin' break! Do you think that what she "wrote" wasn't nasty too! I have enough on my plate without having to take care of someone else's problem child. Where were the parents in all of this. I understand what you are saying & yes we should be concerned for others but to what end! Do we sacrifice our own kids & grandkids to save another kid that has parents & family that should be doing taking responsibility for the child they created. Did Tasha go to school & learn anything. I know how shee's writing & it's a mix of ebonics & text messaging language, my point was keep that language in your circle of friends & at least use proper english in a forum such as this.

As far as having it rough, my daughters & I did, but you won't find them speaking like that in a public forum. They know better! And I am betting this is a spoiled little brat who got everything she wanted from her parents just so they didn't have to listen to her whining that she didn't have what everyone else in the hood has!

Yes, the mob decended on the innocent driver who stopped to help, like the filthy cockroaches they are. As far as the po'boys "falling through the cracks", they HIDE in the cracks so they won't have to work at getting an education, getting and HOLDING a job, or having responsibilities of ANY kind. The parents? What? He's nowhere to be found, and she's watching Oprah in front of her huge, flat-screen TV. They couldn't hear the dirt bikes because the TVs are so loud.
You do have a valid point here & there are those who hide just for the reasons you stated. Unfortunately there are many more who just slip through simply because their parents don't give a rats ass about their offspring, even when the kids are crying out for help. Those kind of parents should be sterilized!

Well I agree that the English language is abused and almost non-exsistant in this country and that sucks. It really does make one sound ignorant when they don't speak it well. Even adults are now using "text talk" to communicate, freakin' sad!!

But I was looking through the "ubonics" and "text talk". I was talking about a big picture.

Fifteen year old on a stolen dirt bike on a city street. It's not his fault, or the parents fault so somebody has to be blamed for the kids death. Give me a break! The kid just saved the tax payers a lot of money because he was obviously on the road to a productive life. Parents need to start taking responsibility, and I think they should be charged in their sons death.

"We all have to take responsibility" for her ignorance? Come on! We all went to the same schools, had the same teachers and curriculum, and probably went to the same colleges --EXCEPT that she probably went on a full-boat scholarship to fill a racial quota, but of course, she wasn't required to take classes and still got her degree in 4 years. Oh, do I sound bitter? At the University I went to, that was common! When they build, with their own hands, a culture for which education has no value, and then they do poorly in school........ you expect the
REST of us to take responsibility for their actions, and decisions, and determinations and lack of aspirations, motivations and inspirations? Uh....no.

I 100% agree, and I think it should be legal and required in many circumstances!! Hey, if you have enough drunken driving arrests or enough major traffic accidents, your license, and therefore ability to drive, is taken away. So should reproductive "rights"! be taken away if you've shown a lack of ability or will to raise and teach and care for them! Soon it is going to be the overpopulation of the ultra-ignorant, abused, addicted-at-birth, ammoral, 8 children by age 19 and pregnant again, entitlement and subsidies dependant leeches on society, who will be the largest voting block. What will we do THEN??? But WOW! Could you imagine the spontaneous diarrhea that mandatory sterilizations would give the ACLU and the bleeding heart liberals? LOL!!

Oh, jeeze - have you read the update? Get real!

New Haven (WTNH)-- A New Haven father is taking matters into his own hands just days after his son died while riding a stolen dirt bike. He put his own stop sign up at the site of the accident.

Arnold Payne nailed his make shift sign to a tree because he believes if a real stop sign was in place, the accident that killed his son might have been avoided.
http://www.wtnh.com/Global/story.asp...

Quinnel Payne, 15, died from his injuries. Police say he was riding a stolen dirt bike and blew thru a stop sign, hitting the rear of a van traveling on thru the intersection. The van did not have a stop sign.

Detectives say other teens then attacked the van driver; the van driver has not been charged.

Meanwhile, Quinnel's dad has put up a paper sign to try to get drivers to stop and send a message for the city to put up a real one.

"I put this sign up in the hope to save a life, a child, someone's life...anyone," Payne said. "And, to slow down the traffic coming thru here crossing this intersection."

Payne has also dug a hole so the city knows where to put the real stop sign.

Mayor John DeStefano tells News Channel 8 the father's request for a real stop sign has been sent to the Traffic Commission.

Time to call the men in white coats before he hurts himself or someone else and if the city honers his request they are ?????

Who is they? Most of "them" don't go to school or college. Many uneducated people, never make it out of their "neighborhood". However I meant the big picture. No, not "their actions, and decisions, and determinations and lack of aspirations, motivations and inspirations?" But even "educated" college kids talk "text talk", don't know how to speak English well. The English language is a lost art. But at least she was "brave" enough to express her opinion even though she got pinned up to the wall and asked "who cares what you think?". We accept only educated people's opinion here.

I am sick and tired of all these folks who can never accept the fact that they were wrong. It's always the fault of someone else! Oh my kid wouldn't do that, he's a good kid. Parents, wake up, your kid is not the little angel you think he is, he's a theif, lazy, no good. You standing up for him and justifying the actions taken by others shows that you're just as bad. Always put the blame on someone else. That's what is wrong with you for it's easier to criticize everyone else rather than admit your own failure.
The boys who beat up that driver are thugs and deserve every bit of punishment they can get. But, I'm sure all their parents will say, oh not my son, he's a good boy, society made him do it.
You people absolutely disgust me..

By the fathers logic, a stop sign on every cornr of every street would save everybody's life. Mr. Mayor Moron of New Haven will probably jump right on this, it sounds right down his alley.
