Dirt bike rider dies after van collision

A 15 year old dirt bike rider who collided with a van on a city street in New Haven Wednesday has died from his injuries.

I am sorry the child had to die but where were the parents or guardians?
They deserve to lose a the child.
The stupidity of the people who allow a child to ride a dirt bike on city streets is a tragedy. They are the ones who should be charged with depraved indifference to human life.

"A really good kid" ... Yeah ... Riding I stolen dirt bike, without a drivers license, and a group of thugs beating down an innocent guy. I am sorry the boy died, I really am, but I think we need some responsibility and inward look at why this happened. Hard to blame anyone else ... disturbing that an innocent driver was beat down by uncaged animals.

WOW. I am sorry that child took it upon himself to steal a bike, and then drive it to his death. But what is even more disturbing is the idiot children who took it upon themselves to attack someone who had no control over the situation. Every damn one of those kids needs to spend time in jail.
