List of those cited by county park rangers

Really the newspaper should stop this now! Let it go already. All of these men have been completly embarassed by this situation. This is no longer news...was it really necessary to break down the list this way? I don't think so. There is a fine line between selling newspapers and the news...I believe you have officially crossed that line with this article!

Enough already!!!! I think these people have been subjected to more than enough embarassment. I know their families have. Maybe we should concentrate on getting some drug dealers off the street. There's always a possibility your family could be subjected to that!!!

Wow, 600 bucks for loitering. 150 bucks for urinating. Way to go park rangers, you caught yourself some real dangerous felons there. Mostly 60 and 70 year old men, wow, you must be so proud of yourselves for taking these menaces to society off the streets. I guess that anyone who goes to the park should be charged with loitering now if they're there for more than a few minutes. Forget about the real criminals who do their drug businesses in the parks, lets get the people that are their for loitering. This is so completely idiotic, this is not news, this is just blatant embarrasment for the sake of selling papers.

People don't typically participate in just one form of illegal behavior. One of the men mentioned in the article is also a con man. After realizing what he was doing to me, I found that he has tried to scam at least 4 other people. He is a liar and misrepresents agencies that are in our city to do good for our city. He cons people into thinking he can help them, only to find out he has no authority, does not work for the agencies and is a crook. I bring my kids to those parks, I think the public has a right to know what is going on.

Congrats to cleaning up park losers! Can't believe people are criticizing the paper and park rangers excusing this insanity. If these men didn't want to be exposed guess they shouldn't have exposed themselves.

i think this is great for the society that you caught these men. now you can be a little safer in the parks but now get the drug dealers who go there. thanks and keep up the good work.

Unbelievable! Some of you people are actually taking up for these perverts! I suppose the men in the park "didn't ask for this"? You are picking judgement on the media! I guess that you are the kind of person that wouldn't want a sex offender listed, or would you? Or a murderer? Or drug dealers? Remember that if something happens to your child or children or loved ones! If these men want to do this, then they need to get a hotel room instead of in our public parks! Would you want to be taking a nice hike in the woods and witness this, or your young children! NO! I don't think so!

One thing that the paper could do that would actually be useful is 1) provide definitions for these charges so that the interpretation is not left for the general public to guess about 2) they could investigate (this would mean actually go out and ask questions) to assess if any of these men were entrapped as I have heard many of them are using as an excuse for their being put on this embarrassing list. Personally, if these men actually did the crime then publish all you want but with this ability to publish also comes some responsibility to perform real journalism and ensure the charges are legit.

Loitering? Couldn't anyone at a park be cited for loitering?

The paper did publish those that were sited, but it did not wait for all the cases to be finished. There were a few acquitals. So what about those men ? I never saw them print list of citations the way they did here.
