NY nuke plant siren mistakenly warns of emergency

A suburban New York City nuclear power plant's siren system has mistakenly blared out the warning, "Emergency! Emergency! Emergency!" The ominous message rattled some of the residents of New City, about 30 miles north of midtown Manhattan.

Sounds like Homer Simpson is working there! They need to decommission this place like they did the one on Long Island. After what happened in 2001, it's way too close to New York City for the bad guys' liking. God forbid there was a disaster there, a good chunk of western Connecticut would be in the red zone.
