The girls did use poor judgement because they trusted the cop, but were probably lulled into a false of security by this "adult authority figure" who might not have even told them that they were consuming was alcohol. Put the blame and responsibility for this where it belongs.

Be aware of who the friends are, where your kids go, and how they look. Make them change if its not appropriate, Girls no longer look their age,, 13 now looks 20. lesson to the girls, please look inside and find out why you need to do what you do. make better choices for yourselves.

Lexie, the cop was assigned to the school for the protection of the students. How were the girls wrong?
