I was wondering if anyone has heard of the whereabouts on the money that has been collected for the band shell. I recall giving money to Lynn Kraft a couple of times at events held in Memorial Park. He also had a miniature version of the band shell next to the can holding the money. I'm surprised nothing was mentioned in the article about the funds that have been raised so far.

Those funds were raised by the Sesquicentennial Committee which functioned as a non-profit organization. They were separate from the Borough and not related at all to Quakertown Alive.

Scott, aren't there any slave laborers you can acquire to make that jungle junk for you to sell in your store at 5th Avenue prices? Get a life. You are so glum all the time. Start sniffing glue. You must not be getting your Tanya Kayat.

You got me. I'm no match for you. I confess that I spent it all on Asian made underwear which I then smoked. Now I can't tell who I am. A store owner or software engineer. Who will you make me tomorrow? Maybe I'm Linc Treadwell!

Any status of what will come of this? Drawings of the park? Blueprints? When is it slated for development?

Still waiting for Main St Park to get a few nice upgrades! Council hasn't touched it in years with the exception of the skate park. They took the swings, slide, ect away about 15 years ago and never replaced them.
