Just how much lamer could this town get????

For 1 there is nothing for the younger people to do in this town,can't bike or skate board or roller skate uptown anymore.Its not like there is a whole lot pedestrains on the down town streets of St.marys.its like more of a retirement community instead of a city.2nd The new trees on court street????Whats up with that? In my opinon the flowering trees that were there made the street very lovely to look at every spring. Instead of leaving them alone...the city tears them out and dos'nt leave the lot vacant but puts in new sappling to replace the ones they tore out!! WASTE! makes me wonder where all the tax funds are going to.

So move.

Flowering trees are pretty when in bloom, but they only bloom for about a one week period in the spring. They are short lived trees and are subject to leaf and bark pests. The replacement trees will develop into large beautiful shade trees that will last for years. St. Marys used to have nice large shade trees on almost every street in town 40 years ago. Nice to see that someone in city government is looking back to the future.
