i dont know why we all cant get along im hispanic i live on redbluff and preston behind the kroger im in the center of pasadena, i dont see tension between hispanics or caucasions, pasadena is not as bad as people think i have been livin here for 17 years and there has been no problems, my neighbors are white and we get along good, sure every race is different but if people arent ignorant and just dont judge people they can get along. i see all these comments going back and forth talkin mess about one another but lets grow up and just get along

I'm a white girl living in somewhere between Fairmont and that "shitty part" of town someone referred to. During all the years I've lived in Pasadena, I've noticed a few things:

I've never seen a teenage Mexican with a dozen or more kids (like some people on this forum claim they see everyday). In fact, the only people I've ever known of having that many kids were all white.

The trashiest homes in my neighborhood belong to white people (including the tax evaders down the street).

Different cultures have different worldviews. Neither one is right or wrong (unless they practice human sacrifices or the like).

Racist bigots tend to be poor, dumb, or elderly. I'm guessing there's not a lot of nursing home residents logged in right now, so it's safe to assume that Kristi, Billy, and Red Dawn fall into one or both of the 1st two categories.
