New Boston Village Council and Police Dept.

What does the people of New Boston think about them? Officer James Lusk got hurt driving old car 9. TSK TSK TSK...They let people go without a formal hearing or even looking into the matter longer then a day?TSK TSK TSK...And then take the word of a known liar above all else...for shame...how many people have been let go fire dept,polce, service, in the past so many years that probably didnt deserve it? and what about the crazy asses they hire in the first place...huh? I know a couple that should have gotten a 2nd shot or at least some help with their problems...but...no union...and who gives a f*ck anyway...If it were not for hookers, pills, and walmart New Boston would probly be taken over by portsmouth police or the sheriff...at least the good buddy system would move up a level from no better then the people they arrest to atleast I have a GED...STICK THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT!!! And what about Steve Hamilton?

what about the dirty cops in the new boston police department? they cheat on their wives. they are either at wal-marts or the american restuarant. they go to the drug dealers home on ohio avenue, get their drugs. the dealers get off scott free. they are suppose to have a weight limit, but that is over looked also. why do they get by with everything and the innocent get arrested, or worse?

Steve Hamilton? not sure i know about him. i agree that they need to get good cops and let the rest of them go. clean out the whole NBPD, and replace them all.

If New Boston is wanting good cops then they need to pay them much better that they are paid at this time. I know ther are some good ones there now and they work very hard. Would you like a job that deals with persons drinking and useing drugs, out of control persons, fights or even someone shooting at you. Lay of of the cops they do a good job.
What do some of you complainers do sit on your ass and collect a check?

There are a few good cops in the NBPD, but not all of them are. The ones that are dirty need to be replaced. I also think that they need to earn more,$9+ an hour isn't that much to live on. I think that all Police Officers should make at least $10 -$15 an hour. But what if they were paid more, how many dirty cops would there be? No matter how much they make, wouldn't they still want more money? think about that!!!

City Council had to know that Stevie Hamilton got Adminastrator because all six had to vote on it.

After he resigned from Village Council.
He got Adminestrator. All of them knew it , But they still interviewed the people and thats wrong.
I'm going to let the voters of New Boston know everything thats been going on in the Village Council.
If it was'nt for the people in the Village the Drug raids would of never happened. It took the People in the Village to get the Village to do something.

That is so true. The Villagers of New Boston should know everything that is going on in their Village.I think that the Villagers of New Boston are the ones that the Council should listen to.

How can Greg Grant keep his Rank as an Officer and work part time .

This is to Mr. Saylers of the New Boston Village Council. I’m not a citizen of New Boston but I think when a young man like Mr. Payne comes to a council meeting he should be treated with respect. He was just asking about a skate park, not a deadly weapon.

I really appreciate Mr. Payton for showing him the respect he deserved.

We as a society want to sell our kids down the road and when they come with a proposal, we tell them we don’t care about the kids of the county, just ours — kind of selfish.

I would like to let you know the school in New Boston would not have very many students if it weren’t for the kids of Scioto County.

Please teach our kids respect, not how to be rude.

What is wrong with the village of new boston? I think that it would be a great idea to make a skate park for the kids of portsmouth, and new boston. it will keep the kids off drugs, get them off the streets also.

Then again, there are a lot of kids that live in these two towns, and drugs are the main focus there.

I strongly believe that it would be a great idea to make a skate park for the children, I have two children that skate all the time and there is no safe place for them to skate. Like I stated before, if I had the money I would build one for all the children of Portsmouth, and New Boston.

I think that the time has come for the children to have a voice, even if it is an adult that states it for them. Skate parks, and other things for the children need to be done.

Keep children off the streets, and keep the children off DRUGS.

What would happen if a Petition was sent around Portsmouth, and New Boston, how many people would sign it? How many people would it take to get it taken into effect?

I agree, I think that the Children desrve A Skate Park .
I had all that stuff when i was a kid.
There was always things to do and places to play, Also pool halls, Game machines, Swimming pools, I mean everything.
I just don't understand why it's so different today.
Children are Children, just as importantant today as we were then.
I would be delighted to sign a petition to get all this for our Children.
