North Carolina man charged with rape in Norwich

this is false the woman is his daugter her name is kelly and has been trying to get money from her dad he went there to try to help with her drug problems and this is how she pays him for her help i have none lester for many years and this did not happen and the truth will come out kelly

It is a shame that what I am sure is a set up to cause a man to be jailed. Kelly the girl who accused him of rape happens to be his daughter who he has been trying to help get out from doing drugs and make her life better. Now this is how she thanks him by false stories. Also said he stolen her credit cards and pocket book funny all the cards were expired that he so-call had taken. Funny that people have been trying to get him up that way for sometime offering him jobs and other things. So he would actually go that way. A lot to this story not been told even his ex that is sure to be involved. Is this how NY law works? They call the South back words. We do check all evidence out before arresting a man. Even the parties involved to make sure statements hold some truth? I am sure it will all come out I hope the news media there has the guts to check things out and force the truth to be told.

Lester is my ex-brother-in-law. I have known him for over 30 years. This man is a loving and caring man that would never disgrace a woman; let alone his own daughter. Lester went back to NY at the request of his daughter to help her straighten up her life and get her off of drugs and the "street" life she was involved in. It is just a shame that an innocent man doing a good deed is being chastized for helping a troubled person. When society and the law had turned her away, the one man that could and would help her is being tormented with accusations of such a terrible crime. All too often the innocent are being accused and locked-up for things they did not do and the ones that need to be in jail are walking free (i.e. OJ Simpson, Brittney Spears, and all those other athletes and actors/actresses) The US is becoming the land of the free---for the true criminals. So, set this man free and catch the TRUE criminal. His daughter should be ashamed of accusing him for this hideous act while hiding the identity of the one who did what they did to her. If was in fact a sexual assault at all. With her reputation, it was probably a consensual act but she does not want anyone to know who she had sex with. Therefore, her own father has to pay the price of her own greed.

I have known kelly for 12 years. Her father has not been there for her the whole time I have known her. Kelly is married with 4 beautiful children,with one of them being adopted. If she is on drugs how would the state let her adopt a child. I dont believe that she would acuse her father of this if it werent true. There was semen found in the rape kit so I hope that that holds the truth. There is pictures of Lester with bruises and scratches the day after the assualt. The truck he was driving didnt have no serial # anywhere. He went to New York to find his son. Not to help Kelly. Kelly was suppose to come to N.C. in June to her fathers in Roseboro. She rented a uhaul but could never get back in touch with Lester. Of course another promise broken. He has never paid one cent of child support for his two daughters. Kelly lived with me for 4 months in 1995 and attended school here. I have kept in touch every since. To me Kelly is a sweet girl. How can you people judge her when yall dont even know her?

Well, i dont know much about kelly , other than shes peanuts daughter. I cant believe peanut did anything like this.. His brother and my mother have been together for almost 10 yrs, so i concider him apart of my family. I dont believe it , im not saying he's perfect, but definately not cappable of anything like this.

I no you all would like to belive in her made up stories but I'm just looking at the facts one the rape kit didnt show anything thats from the lawyer lester pasted a lie det. test did she and upon that fact the judge lowerd the bond from half mil to ten thaousand $ so i would say in light of that the state knows there case is week thats why they let him out of jail I don't have anything against you all but I have to go by the man that i no and trust with my own little kids

You have passed judgment on Lester for a crime that he is accused of, and no DNA, has proven. But, foremost, you have passed judgment on my wife whom you don't know. Here in the south, we know how to prove who the real idiots are. Just to let you know a little about myself, I served my country with the 2nd Marine Force Recon Division, retired from a Municiple police dept., and am now a licensed private investigator. Therefore, I have retrieved probably as much if not more information on this situation than you. Talk is cheap and when this goes to trial, we will all see who the true idiots are. Well Mr Bert was on line and saw all the garbage you've been post'ing. So thought I Would Hit You Back.I met kelly about 14 year's ago when she came to northcarolina'kelly was on drug's then and she know's today that she still is.I don;t talk trash/just fact;s Kelly was a friend of mine 'untill about 7 month's ago she used my friendship to advance her purpose.I would have to strong'ly disagree with you about Lester Elkins {Lester has kept in touch with all his children}and someone don't know their homework to well//I have known Lester for 32 year's-he is not a liar'a /a drug user/does not have any kind of criminal background nor is he a rape'ist.Lester is a good descent'caring'love'ing person and would not abuse anything or any person.You say you know both part'ies involved'that's hard to swallow because if you did you would see the real truth and what's behind it/all of our children grew up around Lester along with most of the neighborhood children'I trust Lester and have sinse i've known him .

To JoyceCaswell/If your son married Kelly I Really feel sorry for him.When all has been taken away from him.he will be gone to.You really dont know these people. People on drugs will do ANYTHING for a fix .

Women use their family and kids to pay men back for not jumping through their hoops.

GOD help a man that comes back late in his kids life and tries to make a silk purse out of a SOWS EAR.

I know a girl that got pregnant twice ... WON'T work and left with the kids who have turned into her personal torpedoes to take RULE over the mans life.

I would hate to be a judge that has to try and find the truth justice here .
