Jimmy was 28 and David was 21. They were both fathers. David just had a baby last week..

Oh and as for Kents comment. That was completely out of line. I highly doubt you knew her, unlike I did. People make mistakes in there life, they have troubled pasts, but hydroplaning on a wet road and getting into a car accident, Yah she deff. controlled that, she killed Jimmy and David, nothing else was a factor right? None of you know Ashley, or knew her for that matter. I'm not about to say she's never done anything bad in her lifetime, but seriously, she HYDROPLANED. She didn't say "oh hey look, another car, let me hit them, so I can try and kill my bestfriend" yeah, cause that makes all the sense in the world. She already has to live with the fact she was the one driving when the accident that took 2 of her friends' lives, she doesn't need people saying she was bound to kill people.

when you live the life that she led with pills, weed and drinking until you pass out you have to know that someday your actions could cost other people their lives. if she was driving too fast or drunk or high she is at fault and it wouldnt be an accident. its not like she did it on purpose but seriously she is at fault. stop making excuses for her like everyone has done her entire life. you arent the only one that has known her for a long time. i went to school with you both and i know what she was like then and now.

Sure I've hydroplaned and killed two people all the time while messed up on pills.

I know she was only 19, but people don't "do it all the time'. I am 51, and have never hydroplaned(knock on wood). You have to be aware of what a car can & can't do, and use some common sense. Rain-slow down.. Snow-slow down .. its not rocket science..!

Wow. Who are you people to judge someone in there life? I for one am not giving Ashley excuses, I was never one to let her get away with anything. She has done wrong, she has done a lot of shitty things in her life and in her past. For one she was NOT drunk, drinking or under the influence when her accident happened. And she wasnt speeding. She hit gravel she couldnt see, the road was wett and she flew into another car. As for this Kim that went to our school. Fuck you. You have no idea what ashley went through during highschool. Or the home life she led. That girl has had a horrible life, and yes some of it has to do with the desicions she chose to make. but not all of it. Highschool sucks, and im sure your perfect. Do you know what kind of white trash lives in latrobe and the horrible things ppl did. If you werent on drugs you were pregnant or a complete piece of shit, that makes up most of latrobe school district.. your kidding urself if you think im wrong. It just makes me sick that you can be so harsh on someone that now has to live with the fact that the guy she loved, and who was her bestfriend, was killed in the accident. This could have been anyone. Its called fate. Nature took its course, fate tooks its course, Ashley didnt take there lives, "God" did. Everything happens for a reason. And those guys that died, they werent angels themselves, so before you judge ashley, judge all of them. You know people are all of a sudden angels and good people once they die, but 2 days before they were horrible people. But now that there dead there amazing and ashley is the most horrible person in the world. Thats how it works in latrobe. Just wait for your day to come, karma will get you too.

KLW, stop making excuses for her. So she had a bad childhood. She's been to rehab how many times and was ordered to attend AA classes and she didn't last through either. Instead she would go out partying with her friends, me included. She never once tried to get over her "home life". No one ever forced her to drink or do drugs those were her choices. I never said the people she killed were angels.

What happen is beyond terrible. I am Jimmy's daughters's aunt. Now they have to live without a father. You can blame people all you want it won't bring them back or change what happened. I did not know Ashley but from what you all say about her she sounds troubled. Maybe this will help her turn her life into something positive, so there lives would not have been lost for nothing. I have to look at those little girls eveyday and see the hurt in their eyes. I have to believe that god would not hurt them without a bigger cause. It is the only thing that makes me feel better.

ALH, I agree with you. I hope that this is the wake up call that Ashley needed to see that her life shouldn't be wasted on partying.

i agree with u 100% because not only did she kill ur brother she killed my cousin, and 4 that she should have 2 face the consequences, what ever they may be.... i just hope everyone in jimmy's family can get through this nightmare.

I don't know her, but if she was always drunk or smoked up or on pills, that just means she was an idiot. And idiots don't know enough to slow down when it's raining or driving thru water, so Yes, she killed them, plain and simple.
