I was a passenger in a car last week while traveling on 270 south heading for Grove City. A woman in the lane next to me was texting while driving. Her speed was erratic and she continually was taking her eyes off the road. I was furious because she was putting everyone else on the road at risk. I wrote down her license plate number and hope to learn how to report her. Anyone who does not see this as a needed law, is not in touch with reality. This should be a nationwide law and the offender should lose their phone and their drivers license .To those who say education is needed, I say are you kidding me? It is common sense to keep your eyes and your brain on the road. I would believe that anyone taking drivers ed. would be told that texting is dangerous, as is any activity that takes your mind and your eyes off the road.
