New Mexican Homes, er, I mean New England Homes and M/I and these other 'players' in the McMansion game are the WORST offenders in hiring contractors who use almost EXCLUSIVELY Mexican labor to build cheaper, faster and shoddy homes that will only devalue these overpriced homes withing five years of purchase...not to mention the leaking roofs and windows once that golden one-year warranty wears off.

All about how many dollars those builders can put in their pockets and take from others.

Let's hope they bothered to add housewrap and proper flashing so these chipboard palaces don't rot from the inside out in 5 years. A lot of these builders find its cheaper to cut corners on construction and come back to fix things later. After the home warranty expires, you're on your own.

Horrid looking places!! Only an idiot would buy those homes. They are like a brand new car; close the deal and take the keys and they drop in value the next day.

Welcome to Olentangy schools where they will rape you in taxes on your new overpriced dump. bahaaaaaa

And you know this how?

Pretty easy to sit at a computer and make allegations. But what actual evidence can you cite to back this up?

If you have it, let's see it. Otherwise STFU.

Affordable? If this is what you consider affordable, then where do I have to drop off my resume to get a job writing headlines for the Dispatch? The cheapest is more than double what I paid for my home last year and even though I have a master's degree, I thought I was stretching myself to afford that.

How do you find good refinance rates? I like "Mortgage Refinance 123". They gave me the option of selecting various rates with different problems. I choose the lowest rate of 3.29% BTW Remember to call and verify the loan rate. Search online to find them.

What? I am supposed to place evidence at your feet? All you (or ANYONE) needs to do (if you weren't so damn lazy) is actually GO to these parade job-sites in the spring...during construction. They look like Mexican ant farms...and it's not the Mexicans I loathe. It is these CHEAPSKATE builders who low-ball the local skilled tradesmen with this illegal and foreign work force!

It happens every year, so get out there and see for yourself.

What does employing others have to do with crappy workmanship and skipping steps in the construction phase? There is an epidemic of NEW houses falling apart all due to the WANT of a few cents worth of house wrap, caulking and/or flashings! You think new homes should disintegrate after three or four years?

Judging by your lack of education and your low intelligence, your statement rings true.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aquarius

The emotional atmosphere is quite potent under this Lunar Eclipse, evoking a sense of crisis. The problems you've been experiencing with a certain person lately come to a head during the next fortnight, making you feel that you have to take drastic action or lay down the law. Yet this could make the situation worse than ever, especially if you act from a sense of panic or desperation. Take things gently and don't throw your weight around unless it's absolutely necessary.
