I grew up with a Cecil Rowe in the West End of NA

he has been weighing heavy on my heart and mind lately have had him in my thoughts for many a many years

I can try and see what I can find out about Cecil. We are childhood friends in the west end and only lived a block from each other. He was hard working and fun. I still remember getting stung by hornets that had a nest in a tree in front of his house.

I still would like to know how to get in touch with cecil I have been making trips up there about every month and would like to see him

Hiyah! I' m a froggie who happened to meet Cecil for the very first time at the Lesbos centre in London back in the summer of 86 (we're not getting any younger...or are we?). Apparently he was the guy "in charge" of the Christian movement called the '3F' named so cos' they would meet every third Friday of the month (how cunning!)
Any road, as I was sipping from my half-pint of cider wondering where that flaming session was about to take place, an angel with a broad smile on his face popped up in front of me and told me I was quite welcome to join the christian bunch and could attend that day's small do that was to take place in a nearby pub called "the Fallen Angel".
Once there I soon discovered that there was no christian debate planned for the occasion since most of the regulars were still away on holiday but still, as Cecil happened to be sitting in front of me, I fell under his charm, or, to put it more bluntly, I became besotted with him on the instant but couldn't bring myself to tell him to his face just there and then.
I remember at one stage in the conversation he would fiddle with my delicate hands while staring at me, which I naïvely took as an encouragement while blushing like a young bride, frozen on the spot, unable to decide between vanishing into thin air or jumping to his neck...
Then it was time for everyone to leave and I recall feeling like a fool outside on my own as everyone had skedaddled their own way, Cecil included.
Later that day, as there was no such thing within sight like a mobile phone in them days I simply dashed to the nearest phone box and dialled the number that happened to appear next to his name in one of the leaflets he had given me, only to realise he had moved house recently (just my luck!). Fortunately the person on the phone, though at first a little surprised at my weird accent, kindly agreed to give me his new number...there you go for now. I'll stop for now as I don't wish to bore you by dumping my old yarns on you. Feel free to ask for more and see what a kind and considerate person Cecil is.
