It was stillborn (dead when it came out)

If you miscarriage, what are you supposed to do with it? It is dead. No need to go to the hospital, They are just going to throw it in the trash and later burn it.

My sister-in-law was pregnant, she thought she had to pee, and when she sat on the toilet, the fetus came out. It is natural, what should she have done? Not every woman can have a perfect pregnancy. I bet you this is more common that what you hear about.

What should you do? Maybe someone should tell us, because these poor girls are getting in trouble for something that unfortunately happens some times.

So let me get this straight; its perfectly ok for a woman to murder her living, unborn child yet its a crime to throw out her stillborn (dead) child? Where is the logic in this?!

I'm with Gomer as well, the child was still born. How much along was the mother, so what should she have done.

Taken it to a hospital, she would be waiting in the waitng area for two or three hours cause it is not life threatening the fetus is dead. Then after about four to six hours, yup, it dead, incinerate, all said and done. Take two aspin call me in the morning if you still have a headache and I will prescribe a pain reliever that I get a kick back on from the manufacturer.

Sorry this was so blunt, but the medical system and the leagal system are both jokes. Medical has now become all about the money, if you are a person with no insurance, get out of here we can not treat you.

Same with all fazes of the medical system. If you are uninsured you have to go to the county hospital like in Dallas, "Parland" and wait sometimes for thirty some odd hours to be seen.

For those of you the have insurance, have you looked at what the charges are for the simplest of treatments.

Example: First of April I split my head open in a fall. We have insurance so we went to the closest hospital. I walked in with a towel held to my head, my face covered with blood. This woman says you need to sign in. I can't see to sign in I have not got my glasses on. My wife finally came in after parking the truck. She got me signed in.

3o minutes later some nurse finally got me actually checked in to be treated then it was six hours later to be cleaned, checked, stapled, tentenis, MRI etc. final bill $4600.00 rediculous.

People don't want to call 911 for something that is this personal. An ambulance, firetruck, and police show up. Naw. I wouldn't do that. That would be the last resort.

She would not have gotten in trouble if she would have just called 911 to take care of the stillborn properly. It is obvious that you cannot just throw away a body (stillborn or not) Not that I agree, its just legistics

Maybe the story should have been about what we should do then huh? Because I haven't a clue, and if my wife came and got me, I would come with a plastic bag.

Not only that, but the ambulance is going to cost you 400 bucks, plus it calls attention to others that something is going on.

The story says she did not check to see if the baby was alive. Which to me means the baby may or may not have been stillborn. She may not have known how to tell, or may not have wanted the baby to live. Only she knows. Sounds like her first reaction was wrong, to flush dead baby. But then realized she should tell someone to keep out of trouble.

Live babies are murdered by doctor's every day and then thrown away, why shouldn't they be arrested? This girl had a dead baby she did not kill it.She did finally go for help and then she gets in trouble. She did nothing compared to what Doctors and nurses do to small helpless babies everyday.

I think that she deserve whatever the sentence that the judge will give her. She is 27 years old so there for I feel like she knows right from wrong, if she didin't want her baby she could have always put the baby up for adoption there are people who would give anything to be able to adopt a child cause they cannot have one and this fool goes and kills her child.
