I was down that way in the 1980's and took her home one night. She looked better at the bar though and really wasn't scarey at first but the next day scared the besheebies out of me and both my brothers. My brother Tim actually married Peppie, So they won't find her now.

I took my family to lake pepin a few times last year to find pepie. i haven't
seem him pop out of the water but i have my camera ready if he does.
I'm glad someone's looking for him because that 1871 photo shows there's
something unknown out there. I know that's a old photo but we all know they didn't have photo shop back than to doctor the photo! Anyway pepie would be
a great idea for the monsterquest program that airs on the history channel.
check it out it's pretty good, they do a great job of investagating lake
Monsters, bigfoot and other creatures.Monsterquest has been in minnesota
looking for large fish why not pepie.good luck hope you find pepie. And if you don't you'll still have fun there. lake pepin is great.

Peppie was abducted back in the late 60's. She was last seen, walkin kinda funny like, into the mens room at the Long Branch Saloon in Elmwood, Wis.
This took place about 3 days after a UFO was seen just outside of town.

Give the guy credit great marketing ploy! Realistically just further evidence to not believe everything I read or see on the news.

I caught one once. It took a # 10 perch colored "Fat Rap". Had to drag it to shore with the boat and then my brother helped me load it in the back of my truck. Tastes like chicken.

This is believable only because you said she walked IN to the Long Branch. Everyone knows that the only way to LEAVE the Long Branch is to crawl out or get thrown out.

It's wrong way Feldman, he stole a coconut powered submarine from the Professor. He and Gilligan were known to have rode the thing from the pacific ocean, to the upper Mississippi.

this whole thing is absolutely ridiculous.
if they have never actually seen this "pepie" then how are they able to assume that it is a male and that there are more.
this world is coming up with the stupidest ways to become publicly noticed.
if any of you believe in this "pepie" until the day that it is proven, you all need to get a life!
haha the documentary should be hilariously stupid to watch!!!

I've been around lakes all my life including Lake Michigan. But I have never seen this wave action like this before:

Question: How can the only 40-50' wave in length, about 2' wide, a foot and a half tall with no boats around go from 75' from the cove shore line out to the lake for 50 yards and some change when the rest of the waves only about 4 to 6" tall, 2" wide, 1' long are coming in from the lake?

This bad boy was steady and on the move.

Note: The ripple going out on the rebound once to shore then back out, are at least half the size on the incoming waves and only lasts about 20' or less.

Sighting: September 5th, 2009 3-3:30 PM

P.S. I have a witness
