Hunters, please don't report our farms. You will be helping the local economy by looking the other way. Thank you.

Pigs! There should be plenty of fingerprints left on the "pig tracks". They should be forced to clean 30 miles of ditches.

how do they determine the value of all these plants? do they factor in quality or do they divide it out by how many dime bags this divides into. my guess is that this stuff is the downtown brown, which sells for $100/oz

If either MN or WI legalizes pot because of some foolish Democrat law maker, expect to see this problem grow 100% like California!

I don't see people growing weed for there own use a problem. Most people who are high do not get violent or commit violent crimes unlike alcohol or other drugs. Let them grow it.

It's time to legalize and tax this stuff. Prohibition didn't work in the 1930s, and it's not working now in exactly the same ways.

That's like saying people would be making moonshine out in the woods if alcohol prohibition were repealed. Do you?? A lot easier to just buy it in a store.
The California problem is that you have a pseudo-legal atmosphere. The illegal market is still competing with the legal medical market. The mish-mash of laws between municipalities certainly complicates things. Oakland's residents passed a law to tax the medical marijuana, and by all accounts, a formerly desolate community and downtown area are now thriving. If persons were allowed to grow plants on their own property, the illegal black market grows like this would NOT happen. There would be no reason for it. It's not a dem/pub issue. BOTH sides like the campaign contributions from police organizations that are gotten via seizures. THAT is why we have not seen these ridiculous laws abolished as has been done with alcohol. Read up on your history and see how prohibition never worked, and continues to fail miserably. The saddest part is that prohibitionists say it's to "protect the kids," yet kids report drugs are much easier to obtain than alcohol or cigarettes.

Right, like the US Government knows anything about weed. If they DID know the facts about weed, it would be legal!! As a Native person I have to assume, for self-preservation, that ANYTHING and EVERYTHING the government says is wrong. Look at their track record I can't recall the US government making a single correct decision in my 42 years living under oppression/freedom.
