You're right about the address of Jae's in the South End; it is near Gainsborough (we walked there, and that was the street name that stuck in my head; Sorry for the confusion). It is actually located on Columbus Ave.- near Gainsborough. It still was very good.

I was absolutely not paid for my comments about Jae's. I just happen to be a hard working Pittsfield resident who happens to love a good quality resturaunt and friendly service. Jae has absolutely nothing to do with the local country club that I work at. I just love it how people in Pittsfield have nothing to do but complain about how terrible it is to live here with the crime and deterioration of jobs. When a renouned and prosperous business venture decides to open or relocate in Pittsfield instead of rejoicing in the fact that Jae's Spice will bring not only jobs but also revenue into our small declining city naysayers can do noting but complain. Obviously Grumbles' opinions live up to his chosen nickname. I, for one, continue to rejoice in Jae's decision to open Jae's Spice in Pittsfield. My friends and co-workers can't wait!!!!! That's all very interesting, but does crime or the fact that you work at a country club have to do with a crappy restaurant?

Religion Mars Jae s wrote: I think it's great that Jae's is opening a sushi place downtown but I was astonished and dismayed to read that they will be having a display of Buddah there. I'm not going to eat there because I don't want Jae's religion "Forced" on me. I don't want those buddah's staring at me while I eat sushi. I find their display of religion offensive. After all, what does Buddah have to do with sushi? I think Buddah should remain in temples. I think that their religion should be kept private in a public restaurant. Restaurants are about eating not religion. I was walking down North Street last night and saw a father with his son and they had a red Jesus is Lord T-shirt on. How do you think they would feel walking into that restaurant? I just think that restaurants should remains as restaurants and there should be no public display of religion. Sincerely, sarcastic Fred. Buddhism is not a religion, it is a way of life. Lots of sour grapes here. Get a life and get a brain.

What's next: "Jae Supervises Mopping of Floors at Spice" "Light Switch Successfully Lifted to 'On' Position at Spice" ? This is the best "news" the "journalists" at the berkshire buzzard can find.
