I would say 50% of the teaching staff need to go back to Elementary school and learn how to speak. I honestly can't figure out how they made it through college. Most of them are there to earn a living without caring if their students learn anything. I know some that sit on their computers in the classrooms emailing friends or other teachers that has nothing to do with education. Those Computers should not be used for personal pleasure.Get off your lazy butts Teachers and start teaching these children. If you can't do that, you don't need to be teaching at all.

Naylor is a great school, i have been to 3 different ones, and by far Naylor is the best. Everyone knows everyone, and when i was there, there were no cliks, for the most part everyone got along..sure it has some problems, but id take it over any other school any other day of the week. And it looks like, by the results of this pole, that the majority of people on here, like the school.

Naylor School sux BAD. No cliques? You are so wrong there. If you aren't in a sport, then you are nothing. Hell, there are kids sitting in the bleachers during P.E. because the basketball team is practicing. When asked why those kids can't get up and play ball with the ball players, I was told that it would only slow down the players progress. That is a bunch of crap. P.E. is for EVERYONE, not just the players. If this is the way that the coach thinks, then I think we need a new coach. Naylor has had coaches before that were all about winning. BUT they also included the other kids too. And those coaches done just as good a jobs as those we have now, so tell me what the difference is between now and then? There is no difference. Also, my child has informed me that one of his teachers a while back told him that he'd never amount to anything. This is an elementary school teacher that is telling her students this. Oh yes, this is such a wonderful school, NOT!! Yes there are a few good teachers left there. The ones that actually care about ALL of the kids.

I doubt very much one of the elementary teachers said anything of the sort to any child.

If your son is having problems you might look a little closer to home for the answer.

Wow, this actually makes a lot of sense. I was in a P.E. class that everything we did we HAD to because the ball players had to do it for coach. So we finally had to ask the other coach who actually let us play something instead of lift weights, run, and ball like things, to let us join them. We all got tired of doing the ball player's work. We arn't ball players so we shouldn't have to do what they do. Wow nicely put.=D

This same teacher has told this to more than one student. I was talking to one of my friends about this and she told that a teacher told her nephew that, and she gave the teachers name, hmmmm same teacher. And the problem isn't at home, I can promise you that.

well i have to say that naylor school was great for me. overall the teachers generally care about you. i remember having a great amout of help getting enrolled for college and making life long goals. i talk with kids now graduating high school and they do not have half the help i did. i wish this small town school could teach some city schools what teaching is all about! so ROCK ON NAYLOR!!!!!

Many times we tend to forget the big picture. If you reflect on years past, most folks were brought up with some self responsibility. It seems today we tend to let too many small things slip by and before we know it we have young adults relying on the system or aging parents to help them with the basic surviving skills (hard work and self-responsibility). This starts at home, not in the school. Many parents want the schools to be responsible for teaching their child the values they want. It just isn't set up to cater to each specific child. Many years ago while I was complaining, a wise man said point your finger. I quickly noticed that only one finger pointed to someone else and there were three pointing at me.

Well I went to Naylor I think it is a good school I also played B-ball. I didn't get special treatment or anything but that was a long time ago. The teachers were all very good then and I'm sure that most of them are now it just takes a couple of bad ones to make everyone look bad!
