To Whom It May Concern,
Having grown up in Ct. my whole life and following the law pretty closely,it makes me sick to know someone like this and many others before him should be able to sit in a jail cell with free food, room and other things we as free citizens are allowed.I was training to be a correctional officer and decided to get out because my true feelings came out.In Ct. we I believe have the death penalty but we never use it,that is the problem with our society in this day and age.People commit major crimes like killing someone and know their going to prison where it may be better then where they came from.A few years ago in New Milford we had a man kill his ex-girlfriend and their baby who was less then a year old and he is serving life in prison!! Why not the DEATH PENALTY that baby had no chance to fight for itself so we as jurors should have fought for it and put him to death.Maybe if criminals realize that if we start to use our right to convict someone and put them to death instead of life in prison maybe and I mean maybe they will think twice about what their about to do.Everyone says god sacrificed his son for us then we should sacrifice those who take someone's life to get our point across just as he did.Others say it cost more to put someone to death then let them sit in jail for life,PLEASE someone show me on paper and in budgets where a five dollar needle costs more then twenty years of food and shelter in jail.If people want these criminals to sit in jail for life then let their familys pay to keep them there, why should my hard earned tax dollars be used for this instead of maybe education of our children???As far as if we do use the death penalty, let the family pay for the funeral just as now Mr. Pepe's family must do,they had nothing to do with what happened and now are paying to bury their son,let the killer's family pay for what their son did. This guy should get the death penalty with no questions ask, there were witnesses who saw everything and I believe our law is capital murder which is what happened,he knew damn well what he went out to do that night and if it wasn't to kill Ryan a by-stander trying to help then it was to kill his ex-girlfriend if she didn't go with him.Send a statement and find him guilty of what he did and put himto the DEATH PENALTY!! Our laws are suppose to protect the innocent but it seems to me they protect the guilty from what they should really be getting when found guilty. If I had to I would go before any congress or state capital and voice my opinion because this is really getting ridiculous with murders and no one doing anything.

stories been getting crazy messed up and i just want to make it clear.....there was no fight! no altercation! no exchange of words! ryan had his life taken from him without even getting a chance to defend himself. he was very kindly just removing a friend from a situation that she could have been the victim of as well. he didnt see it coming and didnt have a chance to fight back. this psycho is a cold hearted murderer who will for sure have hell to pay.

So sad to hear of anybody's life ending so violently and at such a young age. Ryan was not bad person. His life was not always easy, but he always remained polite and respectful. I helped him when he asked for it, sheltered him when he had none, talked to him even when his own family would not. His mischievous smile will always be remembered. R.I.P. Ryan.

No matter how bad things were for him at any given time, he was always smiling and making us all laugh. I can still hear the way he used words, those who know him know what i'm talkin about. And he was always smiling. He was a free spirit, you couldn't keep him in one place for too long. He'll be greatly missed. And I know he's laughing at all of us for cryin right now... But we'll stop, R.P. cuz we'll always remember the good times!

I can't sleep guys, every time I close my eyes, there he is. I can imagine his last moments in pain and it tears me up inside. Ryan didn't deserve to go like this...had it been a fair fight, he would have eaten that guy up. Yes he had a hard life, but he was turning it around, working and focusing. Paying his bills, and had his own apartment...and now it's all taken from him. This just isn't right! It isn't.

This is the type of crime that happens in Bridgeport, not Stratford. I propose that we cut this end of town off and hand it over to bridgeport. Its not worth saving.

Amen! I say give them the needle and be done with it.

However its not that easy. As of now there is a case before the Supreme Court that is designed to characterize lethal injection as cruel and inhuman punishment, a violation of our contitutional rights.

Its the liberal lawyers that are pushing this nonsese, trying to stop all death row sitters from death, a death they deserve for the life they took.

The only way to stop these lawyers is to rise up and let out politicos hear it. WE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF CRIMES LIKE THIS! Say it loud. Write your state rep/senator and US rep/senator and let him/her know how yo feel. Its the power of the people that will stop this anarchy being waged by activist lawyers.

I have known Pepe for over 10 years and I will miss him very much. I hope the jerk who did this to him rots in jail for the rest of his life. Killing him would be the easy way out, he needs to think about what he has done for the rest of his life!
