Pool Boy, did you already comment on the meeting of UIVCO's key scientists in Hartford one week before the "abduction" attempt? One week. Also, GPS systems blacked out for a 20 minute time period during the "attempted rape". GPS is run by the DoD.

I think Regan attempted to abduct Ferguson, but I think she was chosen because of something related to the well known vitamin issue at Saratoga Springs High School.

I'm wondering if the Regan case actually had something to do with telomerase and the overall genetic material of the intended victim.

I don't see how the whole story about John Regan of Waterbury, Connecticut has been told. There are certainly some questions about the Palumbo case of September 11, 1993, and the case where he supposedly assaulted an employee.
But regarding the attempted abduction of Lindsay Ferguson from the Saratoga Springs High School parking lot... It was reported that Regan was working on a roof in Saratoga Springs when he was charged with the crime - October 31, 2005. Was Regan using roofing materials made by Uniroyal? Was there any kind of employment or contractual connection, even an indirect one, between Regan and Uniroyal or a Uniroyal subsidiary?
If so, it becomes important that Regan's attorney, E. Stewart Jones, apparently received a retainer, after Regan was sentenced, from a company, Dove Interests, in which Loeb Partners and Sun Capital held a substantial stake. Loeb Partners appears to own or have some kind of controlling interest in Uniroyal (aka Crompton, Avery, Chemtura, and other business names). Sun Capital may well have been the real source of the $60,000 donation to the Molly Bish Reward Fund ostensibly (at least) donated by Prestley Blake.
Since there is no clear reason for Regan's having pleaded guilty, it makes one wonder whether by pleading guilty he simply kept his mouth shut, perhaps at the urging of attorney Jones, who was possibly rewarded by what might, ultimately, turn out to have been Regan's employer, in one sense or another.
Did Regan work for Loeb/Uniroyal and botch the alleged abduction? And then have to keep his mouth shut about the details by pleading guilty? Did Regan's attorney, Jones, urge Regan to plead guilty even though Regan had every reason to plead not guilty and stand trial?
Maybe there is a connection between the Ferguson and Molly Bish cases, after all - but on the corporate level. The whole thing certainly bears much closer scrutiny.
Maybe he plead guilty because he actually did these crimes.

He may have plead guilty because he actually commited these crimes. Ever think of that, instead of some conspiracy theory.

Sure, he probably did plan to kidnap Ferguson, but if he was such a bad guy, with enough money to hire one of upstate New York's best lawyers, and he had a very strong defense, which he did, why didn't he at least go to trial? If he lost at trial, then he would have drawn exactly that same jail time as if he had plead guilty. Saratoga DA, from the start, declared there would be no plea bargain. Regan had absolutely nothing except a few dollars to lose by going to trial. If he was so bad, then why plead guilty? Why not try to get off?

Second, what was he going to do with Ferguson? A high school parking lot with witnesses everywhere is not an easy location to disappear from with a very athletic kidnap victim in the back of a minivan. He must have planned to do something with Ferguson nearby.

Which is why I think that by pleading guilty maybe he kept his mouth shut about his actual plans.

Something kept him from going to trial. Even the Ferguson family was surprised by his guilty plea. He had an extremely strong defense. He could have maintained that he simply was scuffling with Ferguson. He could have correctly claimed that the items in his minivan were the tools of his trade. How can it be proved beyond a reasonable doubt that his intention was to kidnap Lindsey (Lindsay?) Ferguson?

Regan had everything to gain and nothing to lose by going to trial.

Just because you commit a crime doesn't mean you plead guilty, especially when there is no incentive to do so. The Saratoga DA said no plea bargain, right from the start. So Regan, who had an excellent defense, had everything to gain and nothing to lose by going to trial. If he was such a bad actor, why didn't he try to get off by going to trial? It would have been very, very hard for the prosecution to have proven intention in this case. The items in Regan's van were the tools of his trade. The physical contact with Ferguson could have been described as an altercation, a scuffle, a misunderstanding that got out of control, but not an attempt to abduct.

I would suspect that most people, guilty or innocent, try to avoid jail time if at all possible. When no plea bargain is available, then why not go to trial? Whether he plead guilty or was found guilty after trial, the jail time would have been the same. But by pleading guilty, he never had to detail anything that might have involved another person. It is interesting that his attorney, E. Stewart Jones, was later retained by Jared Abbrusseze company Dove Interests, a tiny real estate firm dominated by financial giants Loeb Partners and T. Boone Pickens. The Waterbury connection among Regan, former CT governor John G. Rowland, and Loeb Partners is interesting to say the least.

Seriously?! So regan and all those who supported and loved him thought he would be better served by keeping himself and the "conspiracy" on the lowdown, and instead just to pretend he was a perverted rapist running around taking inappropriate pics and abducting teenaged girls?? Yes, yes, that's it! Brilliant idea! This way, no one will suspect him of not being supportive of a green environment! Jeez, people, pull your heads out of wherever you've hidden them!!

Thank you! Pool Boy is probably John Regan or a member of his family making up crazy sh*t because they are understandably ashamed and looking for some crazy way to divert attention away from concrete evidence like DNA and multiple eyewitnesses. I notice in every single case, Regan tried to say the victims and witnesses were "crazy". Meanwhile, he's attacking his neighbors' wives and daughters, and stalking little girls. Nice. And now he's doing some kind of speed in prison and blogging conspiracies from the prison library...sorry. Your daughter's friends still don't want to 'meet' you on the couch.
