<quoted text>They would probably love to be just carryout/delivery only then they wouldn't have to deal with 3 different types of businesses in one and then be able to get pizzas out. Maybe you should write the company about that. You should tell them to shut down the dining area and just make it carryout and delivery.
That might be a good idea...If its clean...who knows

"..And have you noticed that the local owned are slower maybe than the big franchises... An exaggeration is what your saying You people are ridiculous and beyond comprehension. In this day and age you should really worry about your last days on Earth and what you can do to improve your life and not spend it on down grading people or restaurants to satisfy your troubled souls.."

I had a little trouble understanding the point of your post...I think you are trying to say that the posts complaining about the Pizza hut are exaggerations and that we need to worry about the afterlife instead of Pizza. Is that right? I expect religion to be brought in on abortion talks, but not Pizza.lol And by the way.. I'll say it again so you can hopefully understand.. If I go out to a restaurant to spend my hard-earned money, I expect a minimum of service. That is not an exaggeration...

As a frequent reader of the posts here in this forum, I have never had a reason to jump into the fray. In fact, many times I was under the impression that many were making much ado about nothing, especially when it comes to a pizza restaurant. However, yesterday I decided to got to Pizza Hut, and I must say, you are all one hundred percent on the money on this one. Wnen I entered the front door, I could see that the floor was filthy. not just around the buffet area, but the entire floor. There was a group of three well dressed women standing in front of the counter waiting to attract the attention of anyone who worked there. When someone finally addressed them, they asked if they could get some plates. When the waitress brought out plates, they were still quite dirty. These women had to end up eating out of carry out containers. After waiting five minutes or more, I was greeted, and asked to have a seat in the "second booth", when I got there it was a dirty table. I looked around at this point and realized that ALL the tables were dirty, no exaggeration, EVERY TABLE. No big deal I thought, as the waitress/manager said she would bus my table. I then walked up to the buffet, only to find one or two dried up pieces of pizza, crusty cold pasta, and a filthy salad bar. It was at this point, I simply left. That being said, I may try again, but I don't think it will be any time soon. I would have to agree with idea that it is not too much to ask to go to a clean restaurant. Having worked in the food and beverage industry in high school and college as a former manager of a Pizza restaurnat, the flaws at Pizza Hut are clearly the result of poor management skills. Perhaps if the franchisee or corporate owners took just a little more intrest in their business this would be taken care of. In the mean time, this restaurant will lose more customers everyday. Just my two cents

It does matter what you eat!! Well said and good inspection on the cleaniness. I don't think they should be allowed to still wear there comb in their hair when waiting on you. I'm not judging, I am just stating the health board rules, treat people with respect and dignity. I have worked at fast food places so I guess I am remembering my required duties!

I ate @ the Natchitoches Pizza Hut, against my better judgement but having given in to the gnawing in my belly, then about 3 hours later, sat on the toilet for about 2 hours ..........you take it from there.

What in the heck was in that pizza that ripped my digestive tract I haven't the slightest.

I haven't been to the Pizza Hut in about 2 years. At first I was not impressed, but gave them a few more tries. I have never seen anything like that place. We walked out the last 3 times. 3 strikes and they are out. I don't guess we will go back to give them another chance for quite a while.

Do your own study of the situation. We have 100's of thousands of a certain race of people who do nothing. They sit around getting girls pregnant thus placing more of them on the streets. Look at the all the cities in Louisiana and how they've spiraled downward.

These people want the working class to give them a free ride through life.

I support madatory draft.'Cept everyone runs from it. They don't want the responsibility.

Yet I had to serve but guarantee I'm glad I did. It taught me quite and education.

Go to Vietnam and you'll grow up real fast. Go to Iraq and you'll grow up even faster. Been to both.

I'm not perfect yet I'm better than had I not gone.

You boys got any motivation to make something out of your lives? How's about responsibility? Know what that means?

Rims, blunts, "axe", jeans to the knees, lowridin', cockeyed hats,=========>these things don't make a life, they make a disaster.

From what I have seen from m employment there, the managers actualltry to help the customers. But, there are a large number of issues.

In a nutshell, no one can get fired from the pizza hut here. Period. No one that works there has any fear of losing their job. You don't show up for work, nothing. Oh, you can be written up, but unless you sign the paper, nothing happens. And signing isn't required.

Most of the time, slow delivery times can mean one of several things. The cooks leaving and clearing out the orders (has happened recently), cooks and other staff just leaving (common) or lack of ingredients (common, controlled by higher up than the store) or basically lack of employees.

According to the way the head company sees it, the store can be run by a manager, a cook, 2 servers and a driver who also washes dishes. It's fine for the morning, but when that same mentality lasts to the dinner rush, there is no silverware, or plates, or salad, nothing.

As far as the food being nasty, thats a matter of opinion. Nothing is really made there. With the exceptions of bell peppers and onions, everything else is already made. It's all put in bins and the pizza is made using them. If you got sick, then it was something in the pizza, but there isn't someone in the back waiting to piss on your pizza. That would require someone coming in to work.

The reason most waiters don't care about their customers is because they were asses in the first place. You want good service, don't treat your server like they are a slave to you. It's that simple. Understand that sometimes, you are not their only table. I have had nights where I had 7 tables, one of them was a 24 person party. We didn't have a cook or dishwasher that day, so the manager was cooking, the other server washing dishes and I got stuck with the entire restaurant.

Oh, and fyi, I'm currently pursuing a masters degree, and working there because I know one of the managers personally and needed the money. There aren't many other jobs in this town in the first place, so I take what I can get.

All I can say is you are 100% correct about this Pizza Hut. They are nasty, slow as a turtle and don't care if you come back or not. they have a bad attitude...I love Pizza Hut Pizza's but not in this town. For months I was done dirty by that place. I would call in orders for pizza and go to pick it up through the drive up window and people would just pass by the window and look at me...Never would come up to it and say can I help you...Nope, just pass on by or go and get them a coke and just stand there and drink it..Jesus, where do they get these people that work there..???? Tennessee...R they some of those inbred people..lol

Do what I did, call the health dept. They were on it, and shut down the drink stall, I don't know if they have started using it again, but they had to make some changes before doing so...My post was the very first, go back and see what happened to me...

We don't use it, and its great not having it there.

It would be nice if it was moved into the other room for big parties, but that won't happen either.

we do not go to please the server! I know that you have just a short time working there but please don't cover up the fact that it is not a pleasing place to take your family anymore. It is very serious about what we eat. We pay for it and have to live the next day through it. The management is not serious enough or they would change their standards of customer service is important. The buffet is a joke, its not all you can eat. It is what they want to put out there every thirty minutes or a hour. No one wants to just eat salad, and eat pizza at a buffet when the pizza isn't even there. Sitting there looking with empty plate when you just might get a piece of all you can eat if you can stay awake!!! People do work and don't want to camp out at Pizza Hut!! Don't waste my time anymore, got too many other choices! Have a good day but you didn't convince me, you are defending the manager that is allowing this. I do not believe the customers all go in there and mistreat the employees. Customers are why you and your manager gets a paycheck!!

all of you are mostly correct! the problem is staffing, first they must up staff and train. I tried to do this, but I was stopped, I actually had 4 cooks one fri night, it was great! they will only allow 2 cooks on fri, prime time. the corp. is concerned with profits, between discounts, promotions and rebates, they are loosing 30% in profits daily, so in prder to make money the corp. makes the manager run short staffed. the managers only make about 500.00 a week gross, the servers 2.13 per hour. and yes the customers do get mad and cuss out the employees. I know for a fact, but the blame should go to the franchisse, or corporation. BE STAFFED, BE STOCKED, BE READY, BE FAST!!!
I KNOW WORK OFFSHORE AND MAKE 3 TIMES WHAT I MADE THERE AND NO ONE HOLLERS AT ME. So dont take it out on them, call the complaint line and say you will not go back until they are staffed and trained. fri & sat they should have 5 servers, 4 cooks, 2 on phones, 1 on register, 1 at window manager at door seating, and 4 delivering, and their service and profits will grow. It is simple business ethics. Until you see that dont blame the employees, blame the pizza hut franchise. One night a man from point place cussed me out and said he was going to call the hotline, and I told him to go ahead and tell them you want my job because I wont be here much longer!!! THANK GOD I'M NOT ANYMORE, 6 months was enough.
