New "church" in Natchitoches

Hey has anyone heard of the new "church" in Natch.? It's being held at the events center and the pastor-clemmons, is the guy who got busted for trying to take advatage of church member's wives at a real church in town. He never even appologized to them or the church is what I've heard. Just left and started his own. What kind of example is that? Also he's done this before he came to Natch.

I've heard about this. I would really love to here the story the new church members are telling about this one. For instance the reason behind starting this new church as opposed to staying with the old one.

He was at Victory. I've visited there before. It seems like a great church! I've heard that they are moving on, but he never even admitted it to the church. Sad. Anybody can mess up, but you've got to take responsibility. He apparently didn't.

And what denomination is this church? Sounds to me that the husbands of those women of the first church should habe run him out of town on a rail. And is this new church being held at the convention center?? How sad if so!! That meaning that if the "city" is such a perfect place to retire in, then how can they allow this person to go around and "play church"...HYPOCRITE IS WHAT I CALL HIM''''

wait a minute, i dont say it did or it didnt happen but if we are christians, we should consider what the word says about accusing an elder, you must first have 2 to 3 witnesses and the must bring the matter before the church. and be careful that we judge not... and he that is without sin cast the first stone

Excuse me....But if this pastor, and I am not accusing anyone, did make passes at these women..does that fall on the line of adultery??...One of the 10 commandments. And no I do not believe you need witnesses and the matter be brought in front of the church. If, and I say if, he did what they are saying, he should not be allowed to preach the gospel to anyone, anywhere at any time. He must ask that he be forgiven, to whom ever he wronged.

I'm curious as to the development of this new church. Who, What, When, Where, and WHY?

Probably another one room, rundown, shotgun shack. Or another one room in one of the strip malls. Here today, gone tomorrow. Kicked out when they don't pay their bills.

So, another ignorant, self ordained minister, looking for the easy way to make a dollar, and enjoy a few of the bennies on the way. So how many of the females of the congregration did he seduce before he got caught?

Duh, I probably could have answered my own question. Most, or all of the female members of his congretation followed him to his "new" church??????????

I heard about this also. Boy, does word get around! People need to be aware of who their pastor is and where he has been.

As it regards "witnesses," I'm one of them. Clemons ia a liar, a thief, and entirely unrepentant.

Stanley didn't tell the whole story at first, but now that he's "repented," he started to blame other people for his own sins, wrapping it up in spiritual terms

The new church came into play when Stanley decided he had "prayed through." What you have to understand is that this man believes in personal prophecy, and thinks this justifies him lying and getting back into ministry (because he has a "word from God" that means more than what the Bible says)

He has lied (or at least failed to tell the truth) and deceived people because he's so "humble" (which is just an act. if you really knew him, you would know he just does this because he thinks people are stupid and will believe anything if you say it nicely)

I heard Clemons make fun of the mentally disabled from the pulpit once. Anyone who does stuff like that obviously has problems himself

What about the wife? Is she still with him? Doesn't he have children? I would want my family as far away as possible from the town it happened in. This is something that will be remembered and tagged to him for years to come. Small towns don't let you live this kind of stuff down. And there are actually people who are falling for this guys game? He must be really good at playing it or just a bunch of gullable people. And in response to "Godfearing MAN" what church wouldn't have issues after something like this?

wHAT IS REALLY SAD IS THAT THIS MAN THINKS HE CAN "HIDE" BEHIND THE BIBLE. THE WORLD IS FULL OF PEOPLE LIKE THIS, THEY LURE OTHERS IN UNDER FALSE PRETENSES, WHICH AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED WOULD BE CALLED A "FALSE PROPHET".
MAYBE GOD HAS FORGIVEN HIM, I AM NOT HIS JUDGE. BUT I CAN'T BELIEVE HE WOULD STILL BE ABLE TO OPEN AND PASTOR ANOTHER CHURCH. WHAT IS THIS WORLD BECOMING? HE IS IN A SMALL TOWN AND ONCE PEOPLE FIGURE HIM OUT ONCE AGAIN HE WILL MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ONE.
IF HE WERE TRULY A GOD FEARING MAN CALLED TO SPEAK THE GOSPEL, HE WOULD KNOW BETTER THAN TO MAKE PASSES AT OTHER WOMEN...APPERNTLY HE MISSED THE PART ABOUT...THOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY....
