Former Customer wrote: <quoted text> Then your corporate standards are sh!t. Absolutely agree. And here is the proof that they are: Corporate is being contacted by people who have paid their hard earned money to eat at their restaurant, and now that they have our money, they don't even care about the nasty store or the slouchy lazy rude staff. High standards, my buttocks. No, corporate not a former employee, yet ANOTHER FORMER CUSTOMER. One time I went in there and an employee was just walking around with a runny nose. Delightful. Just want I want to see while I'm sitting there with my cocktail waiting for my food. Another visit: An employee walking around with a piece of food in his hand, munching on it in plain view of the customers at the tables. Now THAT must make the customers who have been waiting endlessly for their food feel real GOOD! HEY AT LEAST SOMEONE WAS GETTING THEIR FOOD ON TIME! Even if it was SOMEONE PAID TO WORK THERE!

High standards my a$$ I knew someone who worked there that was on drug court...chili's is one of the few places convicted felons can get a job at I know this because I know of one who worked there and yes they do have more than one black person working there they just stick them in the back. But I do have yo say I ate there yesterday and my food was great..

One of my coworkers told me a waiter at Chilis accused another one of my employees of not tipping the day before. Exactly where does a waiter think they have the right to demand a tip?!?! If you do what you're suppose to do, you will get a tip. That is so classless. Now after reading about the behavior of the manager, I can see why this behavior is accepted. And yes, you can see the kitchen if you sit in the right place.

Employees that have worked there for 3 months earn a discount card. If the employee comes in and uses the discount card for ANYTHING they have to leave the suggested tip. If they don't, they lose their card. It's all part of the deal.

90% of the waiters are pot heads. Nice standards genius. Try piss testing them and see.

I don't think Chili's is hurting any because it stays packed and a lot of what is brought up on this thread is in most restaurants in America. Me personally would never want to own or manage a restaurant in this town because the workforce here is horrible.

Some people just like stirring shit for no reason at all, then lie about every thing they post.

I have NEVER worked st Chilis. I just tell it like it is! I have absolutely nothing to gain by lying, besides Im too grown for that lying sh*t! Come On Man wrote: <quoted text> I like Chilis too. I assure you those who are trying to cause trouble are disgruntled former employees who got fired for not doing their jobs. But, some simply are bold face liars, like the one who swears you can see into the kitchen from a table on the far wall in the bar. My wife and I eat at Chilis at least 2 times a week, and we consider it our home away from home. The wait staff are friendly and polite. The managers come around to make sure everything is ok. Yes, like any other business there are those occasional bloopers. If that happens, management is always there to correct the situation. My only complaint is that I cannot afford to eat there more often.
