Just me wrote: This is not a black vs white race. This is about Natchitoches. Lee Posey just wants the job so he can retire at full mayor's salary after just 3 years. Juanita Fowler is all about what is good in government. What is good in Natchitoches. She doesn't know color and is dedicated to what she does. Not that it matters, but I am white. Many, maybe most business people in this town know Juanita is the PERSON for the job. Well, from one who has personally spoken to two of the candidates, Fowler and Posey, I would have to say that Fowler DEFINITELY tells it straight when you have a question about anything. I've not had the opportunity to speak with her about her opinion of the asshole running our country, but that is forthcoming. Posey, on the other hand when asked about his opinion of same, hem-hawed without giving ANY answer when asked about his opinion of President Stupid and the way he is "running" our country. That tells me one of two things--he is ignorant about the business of our country (and if you are going to be running our city, you need to know about what is going on in our state as well as our country) OR he is too cowardly to answer a straight up question about the federal government as it is today. If there is ANY candidate running for Mayor or President or any other office in Natchitoches or if there is any Senator or Representative running for the State of Louisiana who supports the non-Christian Fascist, Racist, Communist sitting in the Oval Office in Washington, they won't get my vote, and I'll guarantee I'm not the only one who won't vote for them.

Now down to where the rubber meets the road. Sylvia Morrow or Lee Posey will make great mayors. It has been a long time coming, but finally, we have two great candidates running for mayor. Good luck to Ms. Fowler and Mr. Posey.
One more thing, the Shadow Knows that neither one of these candidates base their campaign on race (I personally know both candidates and have known each as professionals and politically. Both are equally committed to doing what is best for all the citizens of Natchitoches. I will be casting my vote, just do not know which one quite yet.

Save Natchitoches! Vote Fowler while you can. She is the best choice for the whole community. Take heed. Blake cannot and should not be elected. If Posey gets in he will rope-a-dope and be cadillacking on his fat City Salary and retire in four years on his inhanced City retirement without having done a damn thing good for the city. Then the agitated militants will be in a good position along with the help of the Kenny Cox machine, to move in and have their way with you. Then in eight more years, Natchitoches will look a lot like Campti. You have been warned!

I like either Fowler or Posey, but not much in this town is going to change until new businesses with employment come to town. And People think a new mayor will make it cheaper to get on river bank during Christmas festivals but the chamber raises that money and if you let everybody get in for free then we'll have a few roman candles lit and it'll be it. This town has all the potential in the world to be a great city but is nowhere close to what it should be. With all the festivals, plantations, NSU, etc this town should be thriving. I for one would also bring gambling back to Natchitoches because of the money it brings.
