want to remove ISP

Can anyone tell me how to remove the ISP Address from my name, it show up alabama, and georgia and i'm natchitoches, i know it from my bellsouth dial up but want to remove it. Help!

Don't stress, it doesn't mean anything. It's just the computer routing you. It will happen unless you have a local server like cp-tel, etc

It does the same thing to me. Sometimes it shows Texas. No one really cares except for one or two idiots that think all of us are Big Sammy.

if you register your nickname with topix i believe you can set it to whatever location you want.

you still have me confused with someone else.

umm you can delete it easily by using a program that change ur isp.. bu its expensive.. 500 dollors

and isp address is the id for your computer. you can't really get rid of it. but there are ways to hide it, like through a third party proxy server. the isp address is useful to track people who are "looking" to see what you are doing on the internet. there are plenty free trackers online, but you usually have to pay to get the name and actual address of who you track. i've used these on myspace when i got unusual or unwanted page views. but still, as far as hiding your own ip address, going through the 3rd party proxy server is the only way i know of.
