ha...did ya notice the green car entering Front Street going the wrong way on a one way street? Do we really have much crime in Natchitoches? Mayor and chief don't really think so.

I think they don't know what to do about it.

No they are not in his hood or he might be doing something about it. Guess he only talks to the press when it is going to make him look good. As for the Chief say that these were crimes of passion HA crimes of passion my ass. There is a problem with the crime rate in Natchitoches and the sooner Wayne and Melvin open their f*&^%in eyes maybe they can get something done. Sounds like to me they are trying to sugar coat this like all the rest. Maybe you people of Natchitoches have finally had enough. I'm wondering what went on at the council meet Tues. night.

They know full well the calibur of people who have been brought here to Natchitoches, and they know WHY they were brought here....they just don't want to explain it to the public. That would open up a can of worms that neither of them could run from. Actually, I find it rather amusing seeing them sqirm. The only missing factor is Vic, I think he needs to share this moment with Wayne and Melvin. And the other poster was right, they don't know what to do about them now.

As you know the City Police isn't much better. Look at the Murder in Natch forum. They let a pedofile with many charges walk right out of town after killing a kid and hurting others. So please add the City police and DETECTIVES to your list!

Well Ms. Chocolate City, I would first like to tell you that I am white and the reason that it appears that it always follows the black people around is because most of the time you do not hear of the white people's crimes because it always get covered up and you never hear about it. And the drug problem in Natchitoches and everywhere else. Hell blame the white man because that is where its coming from and the use the black people to sell it for them. Wake the f*@k up people!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I see ignorance is alive and well. Do you, disgusted, realize the amount of crime commited by blacks that gets covered up because of the race of the Chief of Police,The sherrif? I am not denying that white crime is covered up at times, but so is black crime. Rezq, I agree 100%, which just makes you wonder, without these coverups what would the tally really be?

Well hell. I don't think, at least in natchitoches, that's it's a race thing. We're a tourist town. They're covering up the spikign crime rate so as not to scare the tourists.

They need to come down and clear some of the dealers out of my apartment complex.

Mayor hides when the press comes to talk about the crime and the Chief denies that there is a crime wave and says it is all a crime of passion. Which is all bullshit in my eyes. You people need to get them the fuck out of office and send them packing.
