What little respect I had for obama just went away. It has just been announced that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and 4 other terrorists will be brought to New York City to be tried in a civilian court. Just more evidence that obama is at the very least a radical muslim sympathizer or at worse a muslim himself.

I don't even know why they are having a trial for Mohammed, he has already confessed. Just tie him to a pole and blow his friggin' head off, but dip the bullets in pig blood first.

Most every stupid thing obama has done. I can see reasoning behind some of his stupid decisions, but there is no sound reasoning for this decision. It is bad and it will become a circus before it's over. Wouldn't be surprised is some liberal judge lets them walk on a technicality.

Bringing them to NYC is one thing, but a civilian court? No way. I can hear the judge now. It's not a civilian crime. Clinton tried using this approach in the 90s and look what eventually happened. We cannot afford to treat these muslim scumbags like ordinary street thugs from Chicago.

Just pray that the judge will not allow TV cameras in the court room to televise the trials live. Then we will end up with a damn circus like in the O.J. Simpson trial. Lord help us.

PrezBO is making the Judge of this case a potential target to every Osama wannabe out there, he is also endangering the jurors and any other civilians that will be associated with this case. A good lawyer should be able to get this case thrown out of court quite easily. The terrorists were not read their Miranda rights, they did not get a speedy trial, they were held to long without being charged and they were interrogated with techniques that are illegal under our criminal system. In order to get a conviction in a civilian court the Obama administration is going to have to overturn a century or more of legal precedence.

Think of that, in order to get a death sentence for these terrorists you are going to have to give up your Miranda rights, your right to a speedy trial, your right to be free from cruel and unusual punishment.

How did the Godfather of the Liberal agenda handle a similar situation in WWII?

PrezBO is apparently no FDR.

For the life of me I cannot understand why Obama pulled this stunt. Of course bringing them here will be a security threat. WHY can he not see this? I wish he would go park his butt outside the courtroom from the beginning until the end of the trial just to prove that we are not in danger.

I refer you to a good article..

Been thinking about this all morning. Do you think that this decision by obama could end up being a political landmine for him? Let me explain. I believe that the vast majority of Americans, no matter their political affiliations, want these terrorists tried, found guilty, and put to death as soon as possible.

If these "civilian" trials go on into and after 2012 with lots of legal wrestling and positioning, especially if the judge is overwhelming liberal and his decision are mostly in favor of the terrorists, I believe that the citizens will be very angry and display that anger at the ballot box in 2012.

By the way you brought up a great point, the safety of the jury members during and especially after the trials. Has anyone heard for sure if these will be jury trials?
