They are now saying the primary shooter is a major. Another was waiting on deployment.

This is so sad. The only soldiers I have ever know were VERY commited to their fellow soldiers.

The coverage is beyond stupid. Three men -- is a conspiracy. Three men is a terror cell. For the FBI to rule out terrorism in an obvious act of terrorism (by whom, we know not yet) indicates were are worse off tha the UK. Three men, synchronized shooting, M16s, maximum kill ............ you won't get the real story from the media.

It Doesn't Surprize Me That They Are In The Service. Those Guy's Go Threw Alot As It Is. They Know People In The Service Need Help With The Mental Problems That war Cause's Them. They Should Have Been Looking To Teach Them About How Hard It Is To Deal With That Stuff Alot Better Than What They Do. Just Because Some Are More Strong Mined Than Other's Doesn't Stop It From Happening.

From what I've read Maj. Hasan was a mental health professional, a convert to Islam and had not been over seas yet. He was scheduled to go to Iraq. This is NOT a case of PTSD. I want to know the names of the other two shooters before I go any farther.

Poppa T I have heard one report that has said the other two have been released but i didn't hear their names.

I see people will take any situation and spin it into some type of political propaganda. Who gives a shit what they label it as, innocent American lives were lost. Whether they call it terrorism, hate crime, homicide, hocus pocus, what difference does it make?

I hear what you're saying, but that's just human nature in this day and age.

As this continues to develop, it looks more and more like this guy was your garden variety malcontent--well, maybe a little more advanced than "garden variety." He was no more than a shirker, a malingerer, and probably a bit of a coward; although since he dealt with PTSD at Walter Reed, he doubtless was having some real psychological issues over a pending deployment to the war.

Damned shame; they used to shoot themselves in the foot.
