Liberals take freedom of speech right from conservatives.

Liberals agree with freedom of speech only when that speech agrees with them.

Liberals want to shut down freedom of speech for conservatives.

We already have laws and punishments in place for violent crimes, so there is no need for a hate crime bill. You have just proven my point. Thank you.

you neocons beat all i've ever seen...the hate crime bill is to impose harsher penalties on violent crime offenders when race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation is the motive...don't run your mouth off when you don't know what you're talkin about...thanks

I know exactly what I am talking about. The hate crimes bill is really about limiting freedom of speech exactly as the link I posted states. The second problem I have with it is that it is the government who gets to decide if a crime is a hate crime or not.(Janet Reno determined that a man going into a Sunday evening youth service at a Baptist church in Texas, yelling anti-Christian profanities and murdering several youths in attendance was NOT a hate crime.) Third, if a man murders another man and it is determined to be a hate crime, what are you going to do, execute him twice or give him 2 life sentences without parole.

Like I stated before, there are already laws and punishments on the books to handle violent crimes if the DAs and Judges would just enforce those laws we all would be better off and safer.
