Cane River Bar and Grill

Shut the hell up. They have great food, service, atmosphere there. You can even get a chopped beef sandwich and a side for something like $5.00 which is cheaper than fast food places. If you don't like the place then something is wrong with you. How can you complain about prices? They are cheaper than most places in Natchitoches. I love the place and y'all keep up the good work over there!!!

yeah its just a shame the owners son or nephew or something keeps trying to sleep with all the waitresses telling them do it or they will lose their job that place has really went down hill fast i stop going cause they all became a bunch of stuck up b!tches to good for anybody

I was really disappointed in the food. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich. The meat had such a funky "wang" taste to it I couldn't even eat it. My wife also couldn't eat her beans for the same reason. I guess some people like how they smoke their meats, my wife and I do not. It really surprised me because I eat pretty much anything, but the funky smokey wang was just to much.

Their only son is very happily married and living in Hawaii. They do not have any nephews in this area either. Get your facts straight before you speak ill of people on a public forum.

and i thought i was the only one with sense to know that guess wtf didnt think about that before they started typing they must of had one of those real stiff drinks they have at the cane river BAR and grill what a joke that place is i wouldnt even let my dog crap on their deck much less let him eat there.

Not sure you know what you are talking about since they dont serve "stiff drinks" only beer. If you dont like it dont eat there pure and simple but there is no need to be hateful and mean. Everyone has different tastes and this isnt yours but it is for a lot of others.

It's not shit anymore all the pretty cool workers are gone!!! It use to be a really good place where you could go hang out and laugh and joke with the workers, now their just plain out stuck up and rude!!

I love this place. The food is good especially the rib eyes and the servers are great. I like the classic rock music that they play as well. Great atmosphere, good looking servers, good food ... what else do you need? If you want cheap food and crappy service go to McDonald's or Burger King. I have to laugh at the people who call this a "biker bar". LOL

What has happen to this place!!!?? I went some years ago and this place was packed with people. Went a week ago and now it's just a ghost town...no offense I love the food and the music is great, but what is really going on!!

I'll tell you what has happen. This place use to be a decent place to go. I loved sitting outside but whoever is running it now has ruined it. The food is to expensive and not worth eating. I will gladly pay for quality food but not for junk. It is not managed properly. Nothing but leftover served now because they do not have any customers.
