Just like I am not afraid to tell the cops to their face two is enough. What do you think they can do to me if I tell them that? Can they kill me? shoot me? beat me? arrest me? cuss me out? Please tell me what can they do to me? Can they write me tickets? Can they arrest my family? Will they rape my wife? Please don't keep me guessing. What can they do? It always make me wonder why people say something that stupid. Do you think dirty looks from them will cause me to fall the the ground in defeat? You must.

It's kind of like the guy in the bar writing peoples names down in a note book when they walk in. One walks in and the guy asks his name. He asks why he wants to know. They guy tells him I am writting down everybodies name who I can kick their ass. The man tells him, I don't think you can kick my ass. So he erases his name.

so you're not afraid of being robbed at gun point. im sorry for being under the impression that you were just like every other person. you must a superman or some shit, right? not afraid of anything. no, the police cant do anything to you for saying that you don't like them, that is what makes them who they are. their ability to put up with people like you and continue to do the job they do so very well. i think you're just running off at the mouth, or fingers, simply because you are jealous of the police. they do what you can't do. it takes a sound mind and a good heart to do their job. you, obviously, don't have either. people like you are the ones who blame the police for everything that is wrong in your lives, but go crying to them every time somebody speeds down your street or steals your bird feeder. have you ever thought that maybe theres alot more to police work than you think you know. i mean seriously, we're not talking about andy and barney in mayberry. real crime is taking place in our city and our police are doing the best they can with what they have to work with. they are short handed, they are under paid, they do need new equipment, and they do need our help. but if you were to ask anyone of them, none of them would cry or whine about the pay. as a matter of fact the only issue that i hear them bringing up is the lack of officers. not the pay and not the equipment. they just want more help. for example, just a few hours ago, over 600 people at a party on mlk. a fight broke out, five police officers from the city and one from the state police had to brake it up and clear everyone out. that is one officer for every hundred people. could you handle one hundred people ready to fight anyone including you, by yourself? wait, don't answer that, i forgot your super man and aren't afraid of anything. dude, open your eyes and look at what is happening to our home town. maybe then you will change your mind.

That's right they can't do any thing to somebody for speaking their minds. If people like you had their way we could never say what we want. We would be shot right there.
A crowd on MLK is nothing. Are you saying blacks scare people? They are not God fearing people and not no reguard for the law? They don't know that if they harm the police they will go to prison? What kind of fool do you think we are? When two patrol cars roll on the scene on MLK the crowd starts to break up. A few will try to hang around and talk crap like you do but in a few minutes they too will be on their way. It's a party not a riot in L.A. So yes it would only take a couple of officers that have respect and the knowledge of handling people to take care of that problem. Black people are killers or thugs. They are just people. It's people that think like you that cause all the problems with the races.
Why should I live in fear of being robbed? If I lived in fear that something could happen to me I would never leave the padded cell you want to keep me in. I'm not afraid because I don't live that way. I don't expect the police to protect me. That is not their job even though you police groupies believe the old serve and protect crap.
If being as capabe of handling myself in crowds, walking down dark streets, or even driving in a crowd of partiers on MLK makes the me superman then just I guess I'm as much a superman and any of those cops that do the same thing. They are not supermen either. They pull their pants on one leg at the time just like the rest of us.
Under paid. They are not any more underpaid than the rest of the people working for a living. Bill Gate and Donald Trump even want to make more money. If you have a job today you feel you are under paid.
Before I go do my job today that I'm not paid enough to do let me remind you, Police don't walk on water. But they were the people that hung the man that did walk on water on a cross until he was dead for committing no crime.

I don't let it bother me that something bad could happen to me when I step out of my house every morning, but I would really prefer not getting robbed at gunpoint while doing so. A crowd anywhere is a problem, but when you're having to deal with large crowds of a few hundred people you've got a problem on your hands that'll take more than two officers to controll. The patrolmen are underpaid for the amount of crap they have to deal with. Yes I know it's their job, but for a city the size of Natchitoches the NPD is doing good just keeping pace. Crime in Natch. is approaching that of a city twice its size and yet nobody seems to care, especially when there's people like you that don't think they need the police. I guess that means we don't need the fire department either since I've got a garden hose outside.

Who did it if not the police? It was some restaurant owners. The door greeter at wal mart didn't hunt him down and arrest him. It was the police. They arrested him locked him up then hung him on a cross until he was dead. Can you dispute that?

Jesus must have been a black man. He was arrested for committing no crime, jailed, hanged on a cross until he was dead. NO CRIME....mind you. profiled. and hanged. by the police.

I agree with John...not so easy to walk in those shoes....Try it...

some of us could do the easy job of being a police officer we are just too old for the job. They only hire young boys and not old experenced men. It would be an easy pay check for some part time work.

Go see the civil service rep. since you seem to have a very small backbone, lets see if you can do it

What makes this job so hard? Stress? Stress is on every job where people have responsiblity.

The job is no different then any other job, as far as stress, just the public make them look so bad. I am also sure your job doesnt allow you to worry about things they have to worry about

If I was a worrier I would worry about the samethings. Being shot, in car wrecks, getting hurt, fired, sued, fired, etc. It's no more stressful than my job. I also have to the stress of paying people before I can make any money.
