What's going on with the black people fixing up old cars and painting Pringle's and M&M logos all over them? Are they being paid royalties from the companies or do they just love Pringles and M&M's that much?
Do they realize that the M&M car is a relica of a car in NASCAR? Surely they are not that big a fan of NASCAR? Are they making fun of Nascar and rednecks?

Why does it matter to you what they paint on their cars, just do you and let them do them

It does not matter to me. I just want to know:
1. Are they being paid royalties
2. Is this copyright infringement or did they get permission from these companies to use their logos?
3. Do they really like these products so much that they have to paint it on their cars?
4. Do they realize the M&M car is a replica of a car in Nascar?
5. Do they even watch Nascar?
6. Are they making fun of people that do watch Nascar?

Why won't anyone answer these questions?

Because they are stupid questions.
1. I seriously doubt that they are being paid royalties, anyone with common sense knows that.
2.Why would they need permission to use some logos, it's not like they put the logos on the car to make a profit which would be a whole different matter.
3.No, people just like to do stuff that's different.
4. I'm pretty sure they do, so what?
5. Probably not.
6. I don't think they would waste their money to make fun of someone. They could quite possibly just happen to like the design, ever thought of that. I know a lot of young guys that wear NASCAR jackets (I have a Budweiser Dale Jr.)that has never watched a second of a NASCAR race, but I just like the way that jacket looks, has nothing to do with making fun of someone.
Hopefully you can get some rest now.

My point being that it's really, really stupid to spend so much money on a hunk of junk...

And, does the money come from "legal" or "illegal" activities?

Does the logo have negative connotations, ie- "Just look for the M&M's car for your hookup", etc.

1. Yeah you are right. Whose company would want those people in those old hoopties promoting it?
2. If they are selling drugs out of those cars, they are making a profit.
3. Different or stupid?
4, 5, 6. Do any black people watch NASCAR?

They're dealers. Just like the ice cream truck. The kids find them easy to spot.

How impress are you that one of them is locked up cause of drugs? Its the M&M or Pringles. That will be a cool car for the Drug Task Force to drive around!

I've seen the M & M car and the Pringles car at the apartments, on the right side of the street across from the Social Security Officd, just south of Keyser Ave, many times, as well as many other brightly painted, restored old vehicles, what I would call "neon" colors. There's always a large gathering of individuals and all have their car sterios blasting and all are on cell phones. But also, amazing enough, I've never seen a cop there?
