Ok. Here is the thing. It's not like she is some overnight fling. It said they had been together for 10 years. In Tenessee they don't allow same sex marriage and yet they aren't allowed to live together and raise a family either? So basically there is no option for this woman to have her partner and her child. I agree with no over night boyfriends/girl friends but if it were a man after 10 years together they would most likely be married and therefore he could stay overnight but because its a woman and they aren't allowed to be married they can't.
