They sent them out of the country and hired illegals at cheaper wages to do the jobs that are still here. Be angry at them too. My mother came here from another country on a visa and became an American citizen. That was 45 years ago. She still has a European accent, although not as pronounced as it once was. When people question her about where she is from, she quickly says, "I was born in,..., but I am an American." My father served in the military in WWII and I have a brother who served in Vietnam and is retired military. Don't categorize me. I have an education and I choose to think things through before blaming an entire population for the wrongs of a few.
