I use to kive in Hastings a feww years back and thought the sports program was going down hill fast.

I recived a email from a student who was in tears he didn't make the 9th grade basket ball team. I later found out that this female coach who has been advancing with this team from 3 years ago and picks the same group of students every season. Oh and one of the startes is her son......Go figure right? Also many of the players are in the "click" and one student who is a starter only made 2 points in the 3 years she has been coaching.

The team sucks and has no talent just names.

I am sure glad I home school my Kids here over seas,

Wake up Hastings and take out the trash!!! I know Mr, Hoke would never let this person whom can't coach anyways progress whit her son.

Your a joke Mrs H

Truely, have you been here to watch these kids play? They are good and I like how Mrs. H coaches them. She has a lot of talent to work with (including her son) If you can do better why don't you come and try to coach. It's harder than you think. Don't spout off unless you have tried to do it yourself.

I'm sorry, we do not have countless hours to kiss rears to work our way into the circle of the elite. We are too busy actually spending time with our children, making sure they do their homework so they actually learn something. Lord knows they will not be handed A's because they are not in sports.

Yes I have seen them they are not that good. I have seen others as well that did not make the team and they are BETTER.

Once again...SO THRILLED that I am now out of it! No more kids in school!!!!! Your days will also come....don't fret....just prepare your kids for the world AFTER Hastings Shallow/Cliquey School system is done with them, and know that wherever there are people....you are gonna get this BS....Parents trying to live THEIR dreams thru their kids...and it is actually VERY SELFISH. Kids need to have support but they don't need parents in their shadows. Let the kids alone and they will probably all get along better once parents keep their noses out of things.
