I hope you do because by calling him a criminal you have just slandered him. And he has been known to sue people. Just ask his former employees. He just likes to do paperwork.. only thing he has got an ex-employee in court for was about a car that he helped one of them buy. Whistleblower as you have seen, the papers are filed, that's all so far. One of the cases is like 2yrs old.

Actually, I thought she did a pretty good job of reporting in Friday's Gazette. At least she interviewed him. That is a change. Have any of you thought she might have a vendetta against Cooksey? I wonder what it could be if she has one? If any of you know, will you please enlighten us? I personally know 2 doctors and 7 or 8 nurses that have had their license suspended or given them up like Cooksey did. The reason I mention it is that none of them appeared on the front page of the Gazette. In fact, I did not see it in the paper at all. Do any of you find that strange?

I cannot believe this thread. I happen to like all her stories and feel she does a great job. Wish I could do half as well as she does.

As you can see, I try to get as much information as I can and then blow the whistle. When people like you just state an opinion, how does that help? You have every right to have an opinion. But facts supporting the motives of an individual tend to help discover whether the whistle needs to be blown. I'm glad you enjoy her stories. Probably lots of people do or she wouldn't have her job. But I'm trying to find out whether or not she is operating from a vendetta. If she is, that needs to be exposed. If she is not, wonderful. All information will be appreciated.

Is there a vendetta against Cooksey? If you don't think so, please tell us why? If u do, tell us why? I see he is in the paper again today.

Or is she doing her job... she does report the news from the courts..

She also seemed to be fascinated with the lawyer representing Kevin Haley who was arrested on his way to court and got a DWI. What ever happened to that? He took a blood test according to her report. What are the results? And how much did you read in the paper about Bowie County having to settle the sexual harrassment lawsuit by one of the females in the DA's office? How much did they pay? Wasn't that the second complaint about the same DA who had done that before? Where is he today? If she was fair she would give the answers to the questions asked as much publicity as she did the headline, front page news of her negative stories. Now what is her motive for reporting on Cooksey? What about another interview with him? At least she did that before she wrote about the Arkansas situation.

Judge Miller cant even find him for Court... and she's supposed to get his comments before writing about it.... yea right.. as for the other... Kevin Haley who was arrested on his way to court and got a DWI. What ever happened to that? Probably hasn't went to court yet... Bowie County having to settle the sexual harassment lawsuit by one of the females in the DA's office? How much did they pay? I would say the County would have asked for a gag order on that case if I was them.. you may never hear anymore on that one. Now what is her motive for reporting on Cooksey? He's screwing up just like every other yahoo she reports on in the paper. She's doing her job... give the lady a break.. she dont make people screw up, she just tells everyone in town when they do... lol

The "lawyer" who represented "Kevin Haley" got the DWI!!!!!!!!!! And why is the male DA who has been accused of sexually harassing females in the office still working there? Ever heard any more about that? I don't mind what she writes as long as it is fair and balanced. Not like Fox news claims to be, but really fair. She absolutely does not cause Cooksey or anyone else to screw up. But I've talked to lots of people who think she is picking on him. I've asked the question several times as to whether she has a vendetta. No one will answer it either yes or no. Why? I've asked if you answer that yes, tell us why. If you say no, tell us what you base that on. I'm only interested in facts, not opinions. If you hate Cooksey, you probably have a good opinion of her. If you like Cooksey, you may wonder why all the news is negative. For instance, the sub-title to the article she wrote about his surrender of his Arkansas license was, "Lawyer still on probation with the state of Texas" General information maybe. But I thought it was about him giving up his Arkansas License. And to her credit she did interview him. If she could find him then, why not Thursday?

Well, I don't feel she had an thing for Cooksey, to my knowledge in the past the paper has tried to get his comments for other articles and he would never return the calls. Kind of hard to get a comment from someone you cant talk to. As for her headline, In the article it states that his license was a concern of Judge Millers, whether he could legally practice law in Texas and there was confirmation from the State Bar that he was still on probation and able to practice law as of that date. I do believe anyone answering that question besides Lynn would actually be an opinion. Because she is the only one who really knows. Sorry about the DWI thing, I guess I didn't copy the whole comment but it was clearly stated at the beginning of the comment, I only made reference to it in my reply. To keep my remarks sorted. Cant speak for the DA's office thing, I'm sure the EEOC or lawyers representing the woman are taking care of that. But I'm sure the City and County will not want all the information public. They like us like mushrooms..

One time there was a thread started about her that exposed a lot of her antics in her personal life. One was the married attorney with whom she was having an affair. I talked to someone who heard her at Fat Jacks talking loud and angry at the thread. She was mouthing off about it had to be Cooksey or Lesher that started that thread since they both hated her. Also, I talked to a friend of Cooksey's last night. He said Cooksey had taken her a lot of information about the thefts from him that she had never printed. Evidently, copies of the checks that were stamped and cashed were taken to her. Don't know how many or who they were to. Trying to find out. Will report more later as I find out. Incidentally, the thread about her personal life somehow mysteriously disappeared. Imagine that! lol

But "Liedon" aka Cooksey, had posted alot of comments on that thread as well as this one. Some quite slanderous of others. So I'm sure since we haven't seen him online posting as Liedon he has took a lesson from the others who were in trouble for expressing some of their strong opinions on the site. I know he has sent letters to the County, City and the DA trying to push and/or influence the investigations on the charges he has filed. But I cant help but think if this was such an open and shut thing why hasn't something been done? There is more to this that hasn't come out yet, I'm sure.

Just curious how you know the thread about her personal life was true? You are repeating an allegation about an affair, but do you know it for a fact or is it just something you read or heard?
It's easy to make allegations online. Especially anonymously. Doesn't mean they are true.

Doesn't mean they are true. I don't know if it was true or not. My point was that the thread disappeared. Just don't understand how. Lesher's didn't. Cooksey's hasn't. I thought the internet was a way the public could put out the stories the press would not print. And I don't care if it was true or not. I wonder if all the stuff about Lesher and Cooksey that the gazette printed was the absolute truth? Or was it the reporter's opinion on many of the things? Surely you will agree that the press can distort things and give them a negative or positive twist! Wouldn't that depend on the reporter and any bias he or she had? There are two sides to every story! As I read the gazette, it looked like he had already been convicted and all the allegations were true. They were treated as true in many instances. Same with Cooksey. Could he be telling the truth? There is that possibility. I doubt it but it is possible. Do any of his employees have something to lose if he is telling the truth? I doubt they are telling all the truth either. Because in this or some thread, a contributor named Questioner and I asked questions of a person who was defending one of his former employees and talking to her. The person defending her would not answer any of the questions directly. Makes one wonder, doesn't it? He or she just kept trying to change the subject. Maybe the questions being answered would make someone look bad like they were trying to make Cooksey look. I did not then nor do I now feel like he needs any help in that department. lol
