This whole incident is tragic and disgusting. This just goes to show how the gang lifestyle can totally brainwash an individual. It takes a very sick individual to drive a group of teens to a location with the intention of taking the life of a teenager, a former friend.

Also, I am getting sick and tired of the Press Telegram reporting that the child was stabbed in the park, he was NOT stabbed in the park. You can ask the residence surrounding the park, Jose Cano was NOT stabbed in the park. This does not justify anything, however everyone knows that 14th Street Park faces many obstacles and false information only hinders the work that goes into that park everyday to make it a positive place for kids. Jose Cano was stabbed in an alley near the park and unfortunately collapsed in the park, again, he was NOT stabbed in the park.

The mother and the rest of defendants SHOULD SERVE LIFE IN PRISON. The manner they ambushed and killed Cano should warrant all these scum bags LIFE IN PRISON. Eva and her family ARE LOW-LIFES. They offer nothing GOOD in society but to corrupt young children in joining gangs and to murder.

This is sounding more like a soap opera than a crime (though a crime was obviously committed). They used to be friends, but then they became "bitter rivals" because the decedent joined his brother's gang. Query - don't rivals compete for something that both want?
