I feel that anyone who uses gas in ND should have to pay taxes on it.

Well, I do think it is interesting that everyone is using an anonymous handle to share their opinion on this issue.

What's the matter? You don't want anyone to know who you are? Then maybe you should reevaluate what you've written. If you don't want anyone to know that you said it, you probably shouldn't have.

Just a thought,

Native peoples have suffered enough in this country. They shouldn't have to pay a state tax on fuel they buy on their own land. Where is your common sense and your compassion?

Considering that most or all of were born here I believe that means we are "native peoples" who live on our own land. When will people get over the entitlement attitude?

People forget that reservations are basically their own nation within the U.S.
(created by the US government)
That is why the reservations can have full blown casino gambling. I personally think this is wonderful, and would love to fill up my tank with TAX FREE gas while visiting the casino.

Lonely for North Dakota "gone johnson"? Seems you are always coming back via blog to connect with your old state. If life is so great where you are, how come you keep coming back seeking attention from those still here in ND? I love it here in ND and am glad you love your new state...but deep down I think you miss ND, otherwise you would move on with your new life away from here.

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong. The Indians have created their own suffering by making bad choices. Drugs, Booze, children with no fathers, failing grades in school, broken wine bottles all over the place, not working for a living, always begging for money and handouts, not bathing, are the common characteristics of Indians. They have no self pride. Common sense would take you for ride thru the Rez so you can see for yourself their self-induced state. If they use our roads they should pay for the privilege just as out of state drivers do. Ill spent compassion helped teach the Indians they could live like this and survive.

I have news for all you IDIAN HATERS. These are the good days
enjoy them! The Indians can handle and always have handled
the mistreatment bestowed upon them by the government. But can
you? Your nothing to the government, a worse burden than the
Indians in there eyes. So love your children, mom, dad whoever is
special to you because bad day are ahead.

I have nothing against the Indian people. But I do beleive that any fuel used in vehicles that travel our state's roads should be taxed equally.
to "ignorance" and "gone johnson".........we are glad you left our good state, too.

if native people want to be treated equally they should live like everyone else and learn how to be an equal citizen. i am native and have lived in the REAL World and have no problem living like the rest of AMERICANS.
