Illegal immigration destroying America....

I am wondering why Americans are so tolerant of illegal immigration. These people come here illegally, use false documentation and even steal identities. Once they are here, they protest in our streets and make demands while pledging their allegiance to MEXICO!!! While they are here, they suck money right out of the taxpayers wallets: welfare, education, healthcare, free meals. They act irresponsibly with DUIs and crime and clog up our legal system and overcrowd our jails and prisons. Mexico is rich in natural resources and real estate and are fully capable of taking care of their citizens. President Calderon should be getting protested, not President Bush.

Forget about why "us" Americans tolerate it. The questions should be why our great president is over in Mexico kissing their as*es. I must miss the speeches on why he's doing what he's doing 'cause I just cannot fathom his reasoning.

The whole meeting was a joke, Calderon likes to guilt us into helping them. Why should we? Not only that, didn't Bush see all of the angry protesters there? Why does he want them here? Why do the liberal Americans want them here? You know what is funny? All of the people who make donations at work, are conservatives, and all of the liberals refuse to donate. Not only that, they are the same pople who can't even pay their entire share of the lunch bill. Something is wrong here.

Hi Neese, cannot agree with you more. The problem is that the unscupulous politicians are destroying this great nation! For their votes and vote-banks they PLEASE their constituency in WHATEVER they could. This can even mean making illegal things legal (i.e. making illegal aliens legal citizens). Do you know, in one state they have resolved to remove the word "illegal alien" from their constitution! We should be vigilant and must not hesitate to pull up our local representatives (even pull their ears when required) when they come abegging for their votes. And tell them "or else"!

Everything you just mentioned covers just about every race I know. I am willing to guess the ratio of bad "immigrants" is equal to or less than the ration of bad "locals". If I was poor and had no help from my country, I would sneak in too. Wouldn't you? Don't make them sound like bad people - who can blame them. My guess is at some point most of us started off with a guy who was not doing well and left his home - illegal or not at the time - and came to the USA...relax

PMC,I'm ok with what you say,but should they be given preference & allowed to step ahead of those who would like to come here & are trying to come legally,& also why are we taking all the rift,raft that wants to come & putting quotos on professionals & educated ones.Wonder if the heads of corporations know they can exploit the poor & un-educated.Another thing that bugs me about this immigration bill is it allows whole families to come here & immeadiately qualify for all the benifits that our own people can't get from the gov.Don't get me wrong,I'm just tired of dumb-assed politicians giving this country away.You can rest assured I will vote against every one from my district that votes for this immigration bill as it now stands.They need to secure our borders first, if they are going to grant amnesty to all who are here now.It's just a mess & it's going to get bigger & messier.I see this country heading down the wrong paths. Guess what? My uncle was a bleeding heart, literally, out in California, and used to try to help these families. They stuck a knife in his heart after he made a dinner for them, stole his clothes, car and luggage. They will kill you, too, in an instant for their family. We need to think about what these "desperate" people will do once they get in here. I mean, they still need to feed their families and will, obviously, do anything they need to do to do it!

Tell that to the victims' families!! I am guessing that you have never been a victim yourself? I do know people who have been victims of illegals, and it is gut wrenching to see how their families are torn apart. If they weren't here, the crime never would have occured. Our standards are much higher than Mexico's. The more illegals that come here, the lower the standard. It is not uncommon to have gangs like MS-13, beheadings, kidnappings, drunk driving etc... in Mexico. It is a part of their everyday life. I don't want that here.

There are many countries that are far worse off than Mexico. If our immigration policy is based on pity, then NO one from Mexico should be allowed in. I am wondering how well traveled many of you are that are defending illegals, because there are many countries who need our assistance far more than Mexico.

I am a patriotic person, the love for my country is greater than you will ever know. I will not condone anyone disrespecting her, or the fine standard of living that we have earned.

I am sorry for anyone who suffers a loss from ANY crime by ANY race. When you generalize though it is crazy - look up the stats = real numbers on who commits crimes. You will see at least 75% that are solved, of violent crimes, are done by people you Neeses would classify as "legals". There are bad people of all walks of life - use your time to help fight things that cause crime perhaps instead of making wild accusations to the effect that it all is the fault of illegals.

I am not saying we should open the borders, but your tone and blind one sidedness is not called being patriotic.

I love this country as well, but it has it's faults, which in turn have caused it's "own" people to steal and kill on a daily basis more than any illegal population. It's not a race thing but a cultural situation thing.

Odd that you worry about someone "sounding" hateful, yet the repercussions of illegal immigration bother you less(?). Why? Are you familiar with the problems, or do you just think that everyone is here to work hard?

I agree with everthing your saying, I myself am an immigrants daughter but I was born here in the U.S. It bothers me to hear racial slurs from someone who probably hasn't left their hometown. I say put yourself in their shoes and see where they come from before speaking and judging on what type of people they are. I don't hear no one bashing on Whites, Blacks, or Asians all I hear is mojados shouldn't be here. There's other "immigrants" than Mexicans.

oh true is that. but for some reason all of the 'mojados' walk around in packs, steal, rape, and kill. i mean, there are mafia orgs everywhere but when i'm walking down the road in bridgeport and i see a bunch of mexicans loading a body into a white van, it kind of makes you wonder. or another time where there was a dead hispanic on the side of the road with a bottle sticking out of his head. or another time where someone went to get their car because it was snowing and the immigrants waiting for their construction llc to pick them up took all of the rich pasty's food while laughing. or another time where i employed a young daughter of an immigrant who was fifteen with a year old kid. meanwhile she invited all twelve of her brothers and sisters to eat for free in my restaraunt. while they were doing that she pretended to pay by taking money from the register and recirculating it back into the machine. we came up short that night and i fired her the next day with a smile on my face. she came in a week later with her offspring to form a guilt trip. those never work on me. especially from females. i help those who need it and who are humble enough to suffer without the help of others or without hurting others.

yah, if the native americans would of known what the pilgrims were going to do after "thanksgiving", they proabably would of sent them back home as well. they would of sent them back as desperate people to england, where they came from, in hopes of finding unalianable rights that they believed every human deserved.
