Review: Brizan Couture LTD

By far the best boutique I have ever been to! Beautiful dresses, great service, excellent prices!

Prices are much better at Wal-Mart.

This is an absolute stunning boutique! I have purchased several dressers there as well as some casual items, and they always fit and look amazing! The staff is always very attentive and always seem to go the extra mile to make your experience a great one. I was happy to see that they finally launched their website www.brizancouture.com . It's an actual online store, so I can shop all the time! The word is really starting to get out about this place and for good reason!

Eileen and Julie C are right on! this boutique is a real hidden Gem! My friend introduced my to this place several months ago, and I purchased a dress there for a wedding I had in August. I cant even tell you how many compliments I got on the dress at this wedding... I made me feel so good! The manager Sue put my whole look together from the shoes to the accessories to the handbag! Even with a packed store, she spent over 2 hours with me. The dresses there are so unique and the service is so great, I just had to write something about it to pass along a great find ladies!

Much better prices and quality at Talbot's too.

It is a bit too pricey for my tatse.

On the contrary to the last few comments made, I'm a mom who has spent many hours dress shopping over the years. I bought my oldest daughter's prom dress from Bri'zan couture last year, and just recently just bought my younger daughter's homecoming dress there as well. Prices are beyond reasonable and comparable. I've seen dresses in there that were pricy as well as beautiful ones that were beyond reasonable. The quality of these dresses are comparable to Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus.. without their price tags. Definitely a place I have ALREADY recommended!

Maybe I just don't have the rich husband to pay the bill, but it was a bit to pricey for the average working woman. Sorry.

I've never written a comment on any of these pages, but I want people to know the truth about this place because there are some comments on this page that are misleading. I'm a single mom raising 3 teenage daughters on my own, one is 19, one 17 and one 16. We all live off of one income which is very modest. Last year I purchased my oldest daughters prom dress and Brizan, and spent $275 (this included a beautiful pair of earings and a bracelet). Since money is fairly tight in our house, I certainly shopped around both before and after our initial visit to brizan couture, just to get a feel for what these dresses were going for elsewhere. The same dress my oldest daughter purchased from brizan was $60 more at peaches and $45 more at another suburban store. Just last week, I bought my two younger daughters their homecoming dresses at brizan and payed under $260 for 2 absolutely gorgeous short dresses. Believe me, there are some gowns in there that go well into the thousands, and so I spoke to the manager Sue (who was extremely nice and helpful) while I was there and asked her, who purchases these gowns? She told me that they dress a lot of the contestants for the Miss Teen, Miss, and Mrs Illinois pageants. Also she informed me that some of the more expensive line they carry, were brought in because some of the clientele kept asking for them. As for the rest of us, believe me there are so many beautiful and unique and affordable gowns to select from!

I Agree with Lisa! I've purchased 2 dresses there in the past 8 months, and they were priced extremely reasonable! I mean if you want to buy cheap junk then it's not the place for you. I was in there last week picking up some casual tops for the fall, and I saw an absolutely beautiful cocktail dress for $150!!!....Stunning!!! I wish I had an event to wear it to! Ladies, check this place out for yourself, it's worth the drive!

When businesses try to get on the cheap and get free advertising on sites like this it will end up like this.

Friendly staff, beautiful dresses, poor alterations. I thought that you could find dresses that were reasonably priced and comparable to many of the stores me and my daughter had already been into. I suggest going early because the dresses do tend to go quickly. I spent far too much on a dress at the last minute, $600+ and that was way more than I wanted to be spending. Be careful with the alterations though because the dress was all sequins and was very poorly altered. I didn't go with my daughter to pick up the dress or I would have had them do the job right. Come the evening of prom and we had sequins pouring off of the dress. We were glueing the bottom of the dress with a glue gun to try and stop the sequins from falling. All they did was cut the bottom to the desired length and didn't alter the dress. Very disappointing after spending so much money in that store.

I had a wonderful experience at the store. I thought the service was great and their prices were truly reasonable.

@ ryanjr: I know they don't get free advertisment so hold back on ur stupid comments! They are featured all over Naperville Magazine, MTV, Kiss FM, B96 and so forth and obvisouly those are not free...

This place is amazing and whomever begs to differ is their problem. I mean I have purchased dresses from this place over and over again and yet I have never received a terrible piece from alterations or service. Quality of Neiman Marcus doesnt compare b/c real woman buy from Bri`Zan and they all look amazing at a great price considering the economy

Love the runway, like a true fashion show experience were you can strut ur stuff and the
on-looking customers compliment every piece u have on... wonderful job! Keep up the great work

Lies!! All lies!!!! I want shopping here for a prom dress and was very disappointed. The service seemed nice and everything looked great when first walking in. However, they have a terrible selection of dresses. It's very limited and style specific. The service seemed to try and be helpful but after awhile it just got annoying. When I say I don't need help, I don't need help!!!! They were really pushy. I ended up not finding anything so I sat and watched my cousin try on dresses. She liked some, but not enough to buy them for $600. She tried on two dresses and both times the attendants said they looked amazing on her. They were just trying to sell the dress as fast as they could. They also wouldn't stop trying to push jewelry and accessories on her. She said no thank you about 5 times before they finally gave up. I was very disappointed in this store. I can go to jcpenny's or macy's and get way better service and dresses. I would not recommend this store to anyone. It's a waste of time.

I completely disagree with Jenna's comments. I had a wonderful experience and was very pleased. Obviously there was an issue with u, but I was in this store for over 3 hours and I never saw anything like you mentioned. Its a shame that a store this great gets thrown under the bus by u. Every person working there helped every customer with care. U want to talk about sh*tty service, maybe u should visit more boutiques...u'll take back ur words. This boutique is great

Unfortunately, I felt the staff was very condescending. Felt uncomfortable in the store. Would rather give my money to someone who appreciated my business.
