Berwyn can't afford fireworks but the aldermen are voting to purchase laptops for themselves. I'd love to know: 1) how much they will cost; 2) how much personal crap would be found on them if they were turned in after a year; and 3) which alderman has a friend in the computer biz who got the contract with said alderman getting a kick back.

That's what happens when you vote Democracts in. Berwyn didn't like the Independents. They should have given the Republicans a chance instead.

Illinois is so restrictive, it is nearly a dictatorship! Fireworks are illegal, parties are illegal, male-female student interactions at school are illegal, public display of affection is illegal, campfires are illegal, and in several jurisdictions, complaining is illegal.

Good old Berwyn,I went to Morton west high school I just finished working on a basement on Cuyler st. I was dissapointed in Henry's hot dogs. the BBQ beef or the polish did not taste as good as it did in the early 1980s. But the hotdogs were the same, and Novi's beef was the same. I even remember the owner of Novi's.But he did not remember me
