Another fine example of urban planning. This make-believe town was created solely by real-estate speculators, without regard to the infrastructure needs of it's citizens. Sell the over-priced housing and move on. Vallejo will have to bail them out, no doubt.

Vallejo has problems, of course, but water should not be one of them. Water rights and other assets will be protected by Chapter 9 bankruptcy, so there's no worry about such assets being held hostage to honor outstanding debts. But American Canyon shouldn't worry too much either, since it has a Super Wal-Mart where residents can purchase a case of 24 bottles of Geyser Springs Water for the low, low price of $3.56

yes the city fathers say we have lots of money to build what ever we want but the amount of housing they are building with out thinking of future water and traffic is nuts.
i sometimes wonder who has the deep pockets i think it's time to rethink all of the council members and have a stop to building unless it mostly commercial so we don't end up like vallejo

Feeling a bit thirsty just thinking about it? You should. As it gets worse, remember to thank a dumb politician and an environmental extremist for constantly rebuking the building of more water storage facilities. We'll learn the hard way!

Where is American Canyon anyway? I know it's after you leave Vallejo but I've never really figured out were the Town is, exactly.........
