I was reading old newspapers and came across a young woman, Nancy Stewart Wilke, who went missing from Norcross in 1967. Her case extra attention because it was similar to a missing woman from Atlanta (Mary Shotwell Little).
I can't find any follow up stories. Was she ever found?

She was not from Norcross but from Waycross and to my knowledge she has never been found.

Thanks. I meant Waycross, but habit must have taken over.

How sad that she's still missing after all these years.

In the 60's they did not have all the check and balance's and all that we have today sad to say. In the 60's a person could walk away and start a new life real easy back then if they wanted to, Also back then high tech stuff and all the media we have now would most likely would have found here (maybe) if she wanted to be found.

Sometimes we do not want to be found! Or just like a couple of months ago we had a former sherif employee I believe it was riding his jet ski and fell off and they have never found his body even thou they knew he passed away in this very bad accident.

This woman is believed to have disappeared from the old Pic & Save parking lot. They found her car and the items she bought while shopping there in her car but no trace of her.

COME ON....almost every town in America has a unsolved case and missing person.. And the bigger the city the more unsolved cases go on and on along with missing people so before you dump on our little town check you own first...I am sure you have unsolved cases also..

As far as being safe now days I can not think of any city that is completely safe, With drugs and unemployment as high as it is you can not even be sure your shadow is still with you when you walk or shop.

Yeah I remember Nancey My mother worked at Pic n Save at the same time. At least Ware County stopped the killers that were going to dump that body of the Atlanta women in the swamp but the only reason was they landed with out lites at the airport. Back in 1990. About Oak street if that was whites it would have been stopped a long time ago

Regarding Terry Rouse, does anyone think this man, Benjaman Kyle, could be Terry?

Almost 1 yr. ago, I read about Nancy Stewart Wilke in the forum. Someone asked if she had ever been found.I remember this incident when it happened. I REALLY can't believe that no one knows anything. Was it ever in the Unsolved Mysteries? I REALLY believe there is someone somewhere that knows something about this. It is a shame that someone like this could "disappear" and that is the end of story. Sounds like a hush hush thing. Back then, if you had money or knew someone, any incident would be "buried". Hope to find out about this.

Terry Rouse is/was much younger than "Benjaman Kyle."
In '91 (when he went missing) he was 24—now he would be 43.
