Milo Academy faces lawsuit o...

Not an assistant coach, not an instructor by any stretch of the word, and definitely not a choir director! Please, Please if you're going to write material like this, GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT before publishing!

This is a load of BS. This is absolutly not true. This news artical might as well been written by parents of the girl. Way to not take sides. None of this is true by the way.

Definitely not a coach, instructor, or director. Maybe this newspaper needs some new writers who actually look into what they're writing about.

This has happened before......they just got caught this time

I had to pull my son out of this school. This school is worse than any public school for extremely poor judgment by the adults who are suppose to be watching over and protecting the students. Very, very little adult supervision in the dorms and around the campus, very short staffed. And those who are supposed to be spiritually guiding the young adults are spiritually bankrupt themselves. Especially the Principal Randy Bovee, and the boys dean of the year 2005/06, Kirk Haley and his wife Linda Haley.
The smartest thing for anyone who has kids at this school would be to pull them out ASAP. The stories I have heard from my kid after I got him out of their make me sick to my stomach. Not counting our personal experiences. I hope they get sued so bad they have to close their doors, it would be the best thing to happen to the SDA.

ummmm...milo is a great place, i bet your son streched and twisted what actually happend...and for you to call Kirk and Randy "spiritually bankrupt" is just plain stupid... they are both wonderful people and awesome christians....umm ya thats what i have to say other then that this case is stupid and if the judge that gets this case is half way good at his job he would throw it out with out takeing a second look

I am a senior that goes to Milo. And I know both of the people. In fact they are two of my closest friends. So for the record This is a BUNCH OF CRUD! Seriously, Get the facts straight, and next time don't write a one sided article. This is the dumbest thing to come around since Spam!

I know both of the parties well and all of the accusations are BS. The facts in this article aren't even true. This article is only telling the side of the accuser and it's a terrible crime.
Please, people! Learn ALL of the facts before you write in the paper so as to prevent people from getting the wrong impression that is totally wrong. Because this could REALLY hurt Milo when this all started from an incorrect rumor into a bogus lawsuit.

I can remember when I was a kid in Canyonville two punks from Milo Academy grabbed my pillow case full of candy out of my hands on Halloween night and took off. The Canyonville Police caught them.

This is not true. I am not going to believe anything of this. I went to Milo my sophomore year in 2007-2008 and I didn't see anything like that happening.

$1200.00 RENT in Oregon while I'm just paying $312.00 a month BUYING in Tennessee? Nice home sitting on 4 acres?
