Oklahoma Child Support

Is lax and they don't penalize the other party. For example, I filed child support and my application was lost and I called and called on the status and everyone said its in the process. Well 6m later they LOST IT and said they never received it.

So finally my hearing date came and NOW the father has no Job and they don't push him to find one either. If they are required to pay on June 1st, Child Support won't try to reach out for a payment till the 30th day!! Wth?!

Such a joke! Why did I even bother..

i agree with Rae. The wheels at the DHS turn very slow if not backwards. They seized my ex's tax return and didn't release it to me for 6 months.

well if you have a private attorney things are a little better, but it comes to the money if you have it to hire one. dhs is very slow and it could take yers to get any thing done. but it is just not men that dont pay there child support it is women to. and my ex claims she shouldnt have to pay child support because she is the mother. well if she was a fit mother we wouldnt be going thru this.
